    The Program Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Residential Treatment Program for Women and Children located in South Los Angeles. This role ensures the program operates in compliance with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health - Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC) and Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) standards. The Program Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining a high standard of care while supporting JWCH Institute's mission to improve the health and well-being of underserved populations in Los Angeles County. Principal Responsibilities: * Assist the Administrative Program Director in all administrative and operational aspects of the program. * Supervise non-clinical personnel including support staff, drivers, and kitchen staff. * Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and clients, particularly concerning disciplinary matters. * Document non-clinical group sessions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. * Orient new staff, visitors, and external guests to facility protocols and program policies. * Support the Intake Coordinator as needed with admissions and client onboarding. * Manage personnel tasks such as hiring, performance evaluations, staff development, and recommending promotions or salary adjustments. * Monitor safety, quality, and effectiveness of daily program operations. * Ensure compliance with licensing and certification regulations in partnership with the Administrative Program Director. * Maintain adherence to all applicable state, county, and federal standards and treatment guidelines. * Ensure timely and accurate submission of all administrative reports and documentation. * Generate and submit reports on contract compliance and program performance. * Attend relevant trainings, conferences, and seminars to stay current with best practices in behavioral health and leadership. * Conduct regular chart reviews for documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance. * Stay informed of changes in industry standards, policy updates, and program innovations. * Collaborate with Intake and Billing departments to maintain census and financial targets. * Foster cooperative relationships with community partners, referring agencies, and service providers. * Oversee and coordinate client transportation to external appointments. * Manage the maintenance and usage of program vehicles. * Maintain inventory and ensure timely procurement of office, program, and food supplies. * Organize and maintain program documentation such as incident reports and attendance records. * Conduct regular emergency drills and maintain logs in accordance with safety protocols. * Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure staff remain current on physicals, TB tests, and CPR/First Aid certifications. * Track and ensure staff completion of all SAPC-mandated annual trainings. * Act as a liaison between Residential, Outpatient, Recovery Bridge Housing programs, and the Corporate Office. * Other duties as assigned Requirements: * Three years' experience working in the field of substance abuse/mental health * One to two years direct supervisory and management experience * Registered or Certified Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor. Certification must be through an agency accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and recognized by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), such as CADTP or CCAPP. Position Purpose: The Dental Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of an assigned dental clinic, including the dental administrative and auxiliary teams, such as front office receptionists and dental assistants. The Dental Manager collaborates closely with the Lead Dentists, Regional Dental Manager, and Chief Dental Officer to ensure the delivery of high-quality oral health services to the Wesley Health Centers' patient population and support the organization's overall mission to provide accessible and high-quality dental care. The position will interact with staff and clients as a care team member by building rapport and fostering a sense of community. The DTLA Cecil Hotel Interim Housing Program assists homeless, individuals to recover and improve their quality of life. These individuals may also suffer from mental health and substance abuse issues, sometimes causing behaviors such as yelling, cussing, and outbursts of anger. The role of each staff at JWCH is to assist the client in overcoming barriers and increasing coping skills to decrease negative behaviors and live in PSH successfully. Principal Responsibilities: * Establish a positive rapport with clients and express a concern for their well-being. * Demonstrate understanding and practice harm reduction methods. * Demonstrate understanding of trauma-informed care. * Demonstrate non-violent restraint methods, if needed and only as an absolute last resort. * Monitor the floors by walking corridors and perimeter of the building. * Maintain a front desk sign in/out sheet for clients, as well as visitors. * Search clients and/or visitors belongings when they enter the building. * Assist with clients' room searches and/or temperature control, as needed. * Act as floor lead during fire drills and real emergencies, and as lead in performing necessary chair evacuations. * Document any client and/or client-staff incidents and submit to supervisor in a timely manner. * Answer front desk phone, as needed. * Ability to follow all crisis protocol. * Escort clients to appointments when needed. * Use appropriate de-escalation techniques and seek assistance when required. * Demonstrate understanding and awareness of substance abuse and/or negative behavioral health symptoms. * Must be able to work extended shifts when emergency situations warrant in a 24 hour 7 day a week setting. * Flexibility to adjust with a multiple schedule change, shift change, and days off. Responsibilities: * Collaborates with the Program Administrator, Nurse, and Activity Coordinator of ADHC, under the guidance of the Activities Coordinator, and maintains direct reporting to the Director, covering all facets of care. * Contributes to the nutritional component of the program by reporting lunch meal quantities, monitoring participant intake, and addressing any eating challenges. * Assumes responsibility for the preparation and service of snacks and meals. Program Aides provide assistance to participants when cutting food is required and offer feeding support when necessary. * Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen area after meal service. * Ensures the verification and documentation of food temperatures upon arrival at the center, maintaining appropriate levels consistently. * Offers assistance with various aspects of personal hygiene, aiding the RN in maintaining continence and toileting schedules, and facilitating clothing changes as needed. * Participates in the execution and supervision of arts and crafts projects and recreational activities. * Manages inventory for all supplies and consumables in the program, encompassing art supplies, personal hygiene materials, paper goods for meals and snacks, as well as snack foods. Notifies the Activity Coordinator of inventory requirements. * Contributes to the organization and execution of special events for the ADHC. * Assists participants during arrival and departure, ensuring their safe transition to their respective transportation providers. * Assumes accountability for program implementation and the safety of all participants. * Reports any complaints or concerns related to staff, volunteers, or participants directly to the Program Director. * Works in close collaboration with the Nurse and Rehabilitation Staff to implement any maintenance programs. * Operates the company van for participant transportation needs, encompassing pick-up and drop-off as necessary. * Communicates vehicle maintenance requirements to the Director through the daily "Vehicle Maintenance Log." * Undertakes marketing tasks as assigned by the Program Director. * Participate in JWCH's customer service training called AIDET on an annual basis. * Demonstrate an understanding of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You) to apply in patient encounters or team discussions. * Utilize the AIDET communication framework to communicate with patients and team members in a manner that reduces patient anxiety, increases patient compliance, and improves clinical outcomes. * Other duties assigned.
