West Cancer Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Breast Radiologist to join our multi-specialty private practice in Germantown, TN.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Board Certified, Fellowship Trained Breast Imaging Radiologist. Duties include interpreting screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast MRI examinations, breast sonograms, and performance of all breast imaging-guided breast procedures (stereotactically, ultrasound- and MRI-guided needle biopsies; and wire localizations).

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Must hold advanced practice licensure/certification as required by the state of Tennessee.
Nurse Practitioners must also hold an RN license in Tennessee.
Certificate to prescribe and current DEA license required.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.

Write prescriptions in accordance with state rules and regulations.
Prescribe and evaluate treatments based on patient response, ongoing assessments, and consultations.
Complete and document histories, physicals, and admission orders.
Communicate and consult with physicians regarding new patient consults and ongoing care.
Prepare required documentation including discharge summaries, H&Ps, new consult workups, and daily progress notes.
Coordinate follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care between inpatient and outpatient settings.
Professional Practice:
Manage patient caseload efficiently, including documentation and billing/coding.
Maintain hospital credentialing and patient case logs as required.
Actively engage in ongoing education and professional development.
Participate in rounds, staff meetings, tumor boards, and professional training as appropriate.
Mentor and orient new providers, acting as a clinical resource for the team.
Maintain professional appearance, communication, and adherence to safety policies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to promote mutual respect, trust, and high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Must hold advanced practice licensure/certification as required by the state of Tennessee and any applicable states.
Nurse Practitioners must also hold an RN license in Tennessee.
Certificate to prescribe and current DEA license required.
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred (required within 3 years of hire or per hospital assignment).
Skills & Abilities:

Key Responsibilities

Proficiency in radiation safety standards and medical dosimetry techniques.
Strong mathematical skills, including algebra, physics, and pre-calculus.
