Position Overview The Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) works collaboratively with a supervising physician to provide comprehensive care for oncology patients. Communicate and collaborate with physicians on new patient issues and care plans. Review pathology and records, obtaining documentation as needed. Provide continuity of care when physician is unavailable. Supervise infusion care by monitoring labs, clearing patients for treatment, and responding to emergent situations. Qualifications Education & Experience Must hold advanced practice licensure/certification as required by the state of Tennessee. Nurse Practitioners must also hold an RN license in Tennessee.
