West Central has an exciting position available! We are looking for someone to manage the permanent supportive housing program for Sullivan and lower Grafton County. This job requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, can work independently but also collaborate with teams and has strong initiative. The housing specialist will provide services to populations with mental illness.
Duties will include case management and other community based services. This position requires good written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to facilitate and maintain good working relationships with Landlords. Requires close collaboration with designated Mental Health Authority staff, community mental health service providers and other community resources.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others improve the quality of life through access to stable and secure housing.
Primary location is Lebanon, NH. Position requires travel throughout our catchment area.
Requirements:

West Central has developed a new innovative program that will provide Mobile Crisis Outreach to individuals 24 hours a day/7 days a week! The primary goal with this program is to assist individuals with a mental illness before they end up in a significant crisis and require hospitalization.
West Central Behavioral Mobile Crisis is looking to hire an individual(s) who are interested working on this team, specifically the overnight shifts from 11 p.m. -7 a.m. in either of our two locations in Newport/Claremont or Lebanon New Hampshire. We are looking for individuals to help those in need during these times when other service providers are not available.
The Mobile Crisis Team works closely with other Community Health Centers, area Police Department, and other community-based delivery systems. This will all occur within a two-person team. As a part of this team you will rapidly evaluate complex behavioral health situations; develop, recommend and support clinically appropriate crisis interventions to be implemented with individual clients, their families, and a wide variety of community helpers, including law enforcement and EMS personnel.
To do this, we need passionate and dedicated Bachelor-level Counselors. We will consider candidates with Bachelor's Degrees in Progress (Counselors) if they have relevant experience in mobile crisis/mental health and are in school for the appropriate degree. For the case managers who already have a full-time job, but believe in our mission, there are also first, second and third shifts available.
A Crisis Counselor develops meaningful and trusting relationships with clients, acts as a mentor, and gives consumers the support they need to better advocate for themselves, based on their personal experiences. The Crisis Counselor provides clients an example of what they can strive for in their recovery and works as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
* As a member of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team provides peer support services to individuals in crisis in the community and in homes.
* Uses own life experiences to engage individuals in crisis, assist individual with engaging in services and supports, and development of an individualized recovery plan.
* Plays an advocacy role, provides transportation, and promotes self-care, illness self-management, and wellness and recovery.
Education:
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services or a related mental health discipline
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience, either personally or professionally.
Valid driver's license, plus reliable and insured vehicle

West Central Behavioral Health is seeking applicants for a full time Director of Training and Staff Development. The individual in this position will be responsible for providing and coordinating clinical training activities, supervising internships and externships for students seeking to gain work experience in the mental health field, and providing supervision and clinical guidance for staff working towards professional licensure. Proficiency required in supervising all aspects of service delivery from a multidisciplinary team-based approach.
Responsibilities: (partial list):
* Orients all new clinical staff to clinical policies, procedures and practices.
* Coordinates, evaluates, and supervises all workflows and protocols for assigned clinical student interns and new hires utilizing an evidence-based model of supervision.
* Designs and conducts training for licensed clinicians and other professionals.
* Coordinates trainings for staff to include utilizing internal experts and community partners.
* Provides clinical services as appropriate to meet the clinical and operational needs of the agency.
* Facilitates training registrations and all associated travel arrangements related to training for clinical staff
* Develops and delivers training to community organizations related to mental health.
* Participates in college/university career internship fairs.
* Markets Agency internship and fellowship opportunities to appropriate colleges and universities.
* Master's in Psychology, Social Work (or similar) from an accredited college or university preferred
* Possess a license as LMFT, LICSW, LCMHC (or equivalent) preferred
* Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience
* One year of training delivery
* Demonstrated skill and experience training providers in clinical skill development
* Knowledge of mental illness, substance use disorders, and evidence-based treatments
* Proficient computer skills, include experience with Word, Excel, and presentation/training software (PowerPoint) and web-based training platforms.
* Skill in use of graphics, merging documents, and table development.
* Outstanding organizational and communications skills (verbal and written)
* Effective listening skills
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
