Participates in preparation and management of research budgets and monetary disbursements. 2. Arranges for research study sites and determines staff or equipment availability. 3. Confers with health care professionals to determine the best recruitment practices for studies. 4. Assesses eligibility of potential subjects through methods such as screening interviews, reviews of medical records, and discussions with physicians and nurses. 5. Informs patients or caregivers about study aspects and outcomes to be expected. 6. Schedules subjects for appointments, procedures, or inpatient stays as required by study protocols. 7. Oversees subject enrollment to ensure that informed consent is properly obtained and documented. 8. Tracks enrollment status of subjects and documents dropout information such as dropout causes and subject contact efforts. 9. Contacts outside health care providers and communicates with subjects to obtain follow-up information. 10. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
