Clinical Program Coordinator Job in Lebanon, OH
This supervisor position is eligible for a bonus of $750 throughout the first year.
SUMMARY of ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPECTATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Supervises staff by assigning tasks, overseeing work assignments, reviewing work, providing direction, resolving work problems and determining performance standards. Provides direct client care when staff vacancies or extended leave of absence exists. Determines eligibility and selection of employees by conducting interview and selection process.
Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations planning, monitoring and appraising job performance. Maintains authority by maintaining responsibility for developing, approving, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures and quality standards. Ensures accuracy of clinical charts and treatment plans by reviewing, updating and modifying documents completed by staff. Confers and collaborates with social service agencies, community resource committees, medical professionals and others. Corresponds with referral source by attending meetings, writing memos and communicating by telephone. Seeks input from other professionals by presenting and reviewing client cases and obtaining alternative ideas for treatment. Assists in the development of client treatment plan by analyzing and reviewing assessments, collaborating with other medical professionals and conferring with client or client representative. Implements crisis intervention by supporting clients in regards to interpersonal, housing, financial, symptomatic and other emergency issues. When indicated, provides emotional support by interacting with client face to face. Ensures progress by monitoring emotional and mental health, level of functioning, medications, psychiatric appointments, treatment plans and other areas of personal living.
Develops individual service plan by performing diagnostic assessment, explaining treatment process, determining client diagnosis and gathering other pertinent data. Resolves issues by discussing concerns, problems and progress. Monitors client progress by maintaining and reviewing case notes and other documentation.
Provides client with alternative services by compiling information on available agency and community resources.
Corresponds with referral source by attending meetings, writing memos and communicating by telephone.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing periodicals and attending seminars and training sessions. Keeps accurate records in Electronic Health Record by completing and maintaining required documentation including treatment plans, etc.
Comply with agencies policy and procedures manual and keep up to date on updates made.
Assumes responsibility of clinicians due to absences or excessive caseloads.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
LISW, IMFT, PCC-S, PH.D., or Psy, D. LISW-S preferred
