Our Night Electrician role offers a challenging, diverse and exciting opportunity to become part of our Maintenance team. In general, all Electrician roles are required to repair, install, replace, program, and test all electrical circuits, and equipment. Periodically perform or assist others in routine to moderately complex repairs or installation of automatic electrical and electronic controls.
What you will do:
Test electrical systems and circuits in electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures
Inspect electrical systems, equipment or components to identify hazards, defects or repair
Troubleshoot, program and upgrade Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Work with vendors to identify needed parts and recommend to Supervisor
Understand and update instrumentation loop diagrams, E & I drawings, blueprints and schematics
Program AC & DC variable speed drivers
Update power distribution system, MCC and switch gears
Install electrical equipment
What you need to be successful:
High School Diploma or GED
Detailed and accuracy oriented
Understanding of AC and DC control circuits
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; have knowledge of 3 phase motor circuits, MCC's, power distribution and lighting circuits
Ability to work outdoors in all temperatures in loud, high volume environments performing physical tasks throughout the shift
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position which includes walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending and lifting-up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, work in elevated work areas and tight close spaces
Pass a basic written, oral and or visual electrical exam

Remain current in technical changes or equipment designs by attending classes as needed.

Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills
Must be able to understand and follow electrical schematics proficiently without supervision
Familiar with machine control systems
Ability to troubleshoot (complex) machine control systems
Identify the features and functions of controllers
Describe and compare pneumatic and electronic controllers
Identify the signal path through a control circuit
A combination of higher education and experience will be taken into consideration

The Procurement Forester must be willing and able to build the relationships with landowners, loggers, and timber dealers necessary to procure a consistent supply of high-quality logs for the mill. Purchase pine stumpage from private landowners
Timber cruising on private and US Forest Service land
Oversee timber harvesting operations
Purchase delivered wood from delivered supplier force
Grow the supplier force to meet the future consumption needs of the mill
Field visits to correct/educate loggers on mill's needs and specifications for logs
Scale house trained….just in case needed for backup
Coordinate with Procurement Manager to ensure wood flow and log size is being met
Communicate with sister mills to help meet enterprise needs
Work with mill management with continual improvement projects
Requirements you will need:
Safety focused experience
Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Must be able to work with a team, including mill-related teams

What you will do:
* Purchase pine stumpage from private landowners
* Timber cruising on private and US Forest Service land
* Oversee timber harvesting operations
* Purchase delivered wood from delivered supplier force
* Grow the supplier force to meet the future consumption needs of the mill
* Field visits to correct/educate loggers on mill's needs and specifications for logs
* Scale house trained….just in case needed for backup
* Coordinate with Procurement Manager to ensure wood flow and log size is being met
* Communicate with sister mills to help meet enterprise needs
* Work with mill management with continual improvement projects
Requirements you will need:
* Safety focused experience
* Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Must be able to work with a team, including mill-related teams
* Self-motivated and efficient in the planning and execution of responsibilities
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Must be competent or have the ability to learn to conduct timber cruising, market log pricing, timber appraisals, SFI auditing and be able to ensure compliance with all appropriate best management practices
* Have well-honed procurement skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with suppliers and to identify/develop new sourcing opportunities

Our Millwright position is a key player in a company-wide continuous improvement effort through daily use of troubleshooting, and predictive and preventative maintenance strategies. As a member of this high performing team, you will be responsible for working safely with all machinery within the mill.
What you will do:
• Repair and maintain industrial equipment to include conveying systems, major machine centers such as debarkers, canters, gang saws, and edgers
• Able to read and understand drawings and printed instructions
• Must be a self-starter who can work safely under high pressure situations
• Possess basic understanding in line ups of pumps, sheaves, sprockets, machine centers
• Must be able to move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
• Adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts
• Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb tools
• Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools
• Lay out mounting holes, using measuring instruments, and drill holes with power drill
• Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts
• Level bedplate and establish centerline, using straightedge, levels, and transit
• Dismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools
• Attach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly unit, using hand tools and power tool
What you need to be successful:
• Must have cutting torch experience (Oxygen/Acetylene)
• Must have welding experience (GMAW and SMAW)
• Must be safety oriented and comply with all ZES rules
• Be willing to work rotating shifts, overtime and to be on-call to support 24/7 operations
• Must have 3 years of Millwright work experience in Industrial/Manufacturing environment
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
• Must be willing to travel and complete the West Fraser Qualified Millwright training program.

Provide technical expertise and leadership to the operations of either power & recovery OR pulp department. These positions will contribute to meet objectives for safety, environmental, quality, cost, and production performance. Develop and/or implement projects to meet SEQC&P objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
A Bachelor's Degree in a related Engineering field (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Paper Science, Industrial). Prefer the individual to have experience in power, pulp, or paper area of operations.
SKILLS:
A working knowledge of power, chemical recovery, and pulp mill operations is preferred. Competent user of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
COMPETENCIES:
Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidate must be able to work with a group as a team member and the capacity to lead by example while ensuring employee accountability to all department requirements. Candidate must be willing to work shift schedule as required.
