Responsibilities:
Utilizes clinical reasoning which includes a global grasp of situations, critical thinking, decision-making, critical actions, priority setting, and escalation of concerns with associated knowledge, skills, and evidence-based guidelines in managing computerized tomographic radiograph imaging.
Works on behalf of the patients/significant others in representing their concerns and helping resolve ethical and clinical issues that impact the patient's situation. Uses effective communication to escalate concerns to appropriate one up leader. Goes extra mile to attend to patient exam requests.
Creates a compassionate, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff with the aim of promoting comfort and healing and preventing unnecessary suffering or harm. Recognizes patient concern and reacts appropriately, including documentation of events.
Educates patient before scanning procedure explaining the procedure and answering patient questions.
Involves multidisciplinary team as well as patient/significant others to promote optimal and realistic goals and outcomes. Works with other departments to create an effective patient exam flow to include avoiding conflicting procedures and delay of patient care as well as effective utilization of limited technical and clinical resources.
Uses high standards and evidence-based practices along with questioning, research, and evaluation skills to provide informed and/or change practice. Properly assesses patient condition for the candidate for imaging. Performs necessary clinical and technical safety checks and screening processes, validates reasons for the exam with the patient before scanning, addresses all safety concerns before scanning, and performs red rules to ensure the right patient/right exam/right order. Understand the importance of performing necessary safety/calibration/quality checks per established protocols. Do not image patients without an order or without performing necessary safety, lab, and conflicting exam reviews.

A Day in the Life of the Journeyman Electrical Technician
In this role, you'll work alongside the Power Systems Electrical Foreman and a dedicated team to support the reliable operation of the city's electrical infrastructure. From electrical substations and hydroelectric plants to SCADA systems and traffic signal controls, your technical expertise will directly contribute to the power systems that serve the entire community.
Responsibilities include:
Perform maintenance and operations work on substations and related equipment (transformers, breakers, reclosers, etc.)
Assist in the design, installation, testing, and repair of relay systems and electrical control circuits
Maintain and update circuit diagrams, logs, and system records
Support SCADA system hardware/software maintenance and troubleshooting
Participate in system studies (e.g., arc flash, fuse coordination)
Operate and maintain hydroelectric generation equipment and regulatory reporting
Conduct routine and emergency switching for substations and distribution systems
Support maintenance of two-way radio communication systems
Assist with traffic signal controller upkeep
Step in to support the Metering Department when needed

Engineering Responsibilities:
Product Design & Documentation Oversight
Review, validate, and improve engineering drawings, EBOMs, and part specs
Ensure all designs are production-ready and align with existing tooling, fixtures, and fabrication capabilities

Implement drawing release protocols, rev tracking, digital archives, up-to-date spec libraries, part number logic, cut sheets and MBOMs
Producibility & Build Optimization

Implement change management for revisions that affect work order planning or field support
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks caused by poor design interfaces or tolerance stacking

Evaluate and approve new materials for components based on strength, serviceability, cost, and availability

Serviceability & Field Reliability Engineering
Use field failure data and technician input to inform design enhancements
Develop SOPs and field service kits based on real-world access, maintenance needs, and wear items
Embed service thinking into every product change - fewer fasteners, clearer diagnostics, modular swap ability
New Product Development Support
Translate product vision into actionable design and production specs
Own the DFM/DFX (Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Service) process for all new builds
Pilot new configurations in low-rate builds and iterate toward volume-friendly designs

In this role you will program and operate Brown & Sharpe and Zeiss CMMs using PC DMIS or Calypso to inspect high-precision machined parts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for high precision production inspection using applicable metrology software such as PC-DMIS or Calypso.
Utilize CMM programs from customer technical drawings and models to verify machining results.
Write/ edit/ assesses programs utilized in manufacturing using CMM programming platforms such as Calypso, PC-DMIS, etc.
Investigate CMM equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions such as recalibration, sensor repair, software conflicts, fixture improvements, etc.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for CMM operation.
Identify and implement opportunities for measurement process improvements.
Conducts inspections requirements at First Article, In-Process, Incoming & Final Inspection.
Documents inspection results by completing reports & logs. Inputs data into quality database.
Utilize various inspection tools to verify part compliance to technical drawings.
Interpret technical drawings to develop inspection approaches that ensure part compliance
Collaborate with machinist team members to verify first article and production compliance to technical drawings.
Confer with engineers, machinists, and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve issues, or provide technical information.
Assists in development of inspection fixtures to ensure minimum measurement error during inspection
Visually inspect parts for workmanship
Ability to use a variety of Measuring and Test equipment such as Bore gages, Profilometers, Height gages, Micrometers and Optical Comparators.
Maintains equipment and an organized clean area by performing tasks such as daily PMs on inspection equipment and ensuring work a kept clean and organized.
Understanding of common industry specifications (material, coating/plating, NDT, etc.)
Support all company initiatives as identified by management and in support of the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Assist in internal, customer, and third-party audits, as required.
Complies with industry regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school degree or equivalent required. Some secondary education preferred.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of dimensional inspection experience in an aerospace / defense, avionics, medical, or similar industry.
Experience evaluating and interpreting engineering drawings.
PC proficient with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
Understanding of QA sampling plans including visual and dimensional examinations and other ancillary test methods strongly preferred.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Proficient in set-up and operation of inspection equipment.
Proficiency in writing and/ or editing CMM programs (Calypso & PC-DMIS preferred)

Strong math skills, trigonometry.

SALARY/ PAY: $20.00 - $27.00 HOURLY

SUMMARY/ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(Pipelayer role, mainly but not limited to;)
· Reports directly to Job Foreman daily.
· Completes tasks assigned for excavation and construction of underground utility sitework, often working in trenches.
· Effectively completes all jobs assigned within the designated time limit.
· Must maintain a clean and safe work area. Identifies hazards associated with task assignments and asks questions when clarification is needed.
· Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
· Check the quality of pipe to ensure it is without defect.
· Additionally, Pipelayer must be able to lay out laterals, set up for dig, being aware of possible safety issues, be capable of grading for pipe as well as attach laterals, fittings, valves and curb inlets and lay pipe into trenches.
· Any other work as assigned by Foreman, Project Manager and/or Office Managers.
EXPERIENCE:
· Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in wet utility underground construction.
PHYSICAL/ ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
· Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. multiple times daily.
· Competency and awareness of surroundings to identify safety hazards.
· Constant standing, bending, shoveling and other miscellaneous manual labor.
· Requires working outside in the elements with constant exposure to dirt, dust and other particles.
