Cleanroom Technician Job in Pittsburgh, PA
Read work instructions, control plans, engineering specifications, sketches, and assembly drawings.
Use computer programs to access engineering, quality, instructional, and other job related documentation.
Clean parts for use in cleanroom and high vacuum environments.
Examine parts for cleanliness and defects such as scratches, and other irregularities.
Assemble mechanical products with & without detailed assembly documentation.
Prepare and install precision parts such as: bases, tops, posts, linear and rotary bearings.
Perform advanced troubleshooting to determine the cause and solution to malfunctioning products.
Perform complex modifications and fabrication to repair mechanical assemblies.
Test systems in a temperature controlled cleanroom environment using laser interferometers, autocollimators, capacitance probes, and other precision measuring tools.
Perform precision alignments using electronic indicators and precision levels.
Assemble and test systems and provide estimate of completion.
Use tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, etc.
Use inspection equipment such as scales, calipers, micrometers, electronic indicators, etc
Interface with other production departments, sales, and engineering.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED;
One to five years of related experience and/or training;
Qualified candidates must have a mechanical aptitude
Qualified candidates must have experience with utilizing tools
Wear the required appropriate clean room attire, which includes boots, coverall suit, gloves, mask, and hairnet.
