We are currently hiring for: Job Title: Dock Material Handler Job Summary: Dock Material Handler is responsible for operating the powered industrial truck and forklift to move product, equipment, or materials. Compensation Detail: Hourly Wage starting wage is $21.25 per hour plus $1.50 shift premium. Primary Responsibilities: * Responsible for operating a powered industrial truck and forklift safely. * Responsible for pre-operational inspections of the powered industrial truck and forklift. * Operate a scanner and learn the required transactions in the process. * Responsible for picking both fresh and frozen products. * Responsible for loading and unloading trucks along with completing the necessary documentation. * Maintenance and good housekeeping duties. * Responsible for cooler and freezer operations. * Repair and sort pallets. * Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. * Minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred. * Previous experience working in production/manufacturing environment is preferred. * Previous powered industrial truck and forklift experience is preferred. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. * Must be able to work independently without constant supervision. * Must be able to problem solve. * Must have great attention to detail. * Must be able to work in cold environment. * Must be able to become certified operator for both the powered industrial truck and forklift. * Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. * Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed. * Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
