Marked by the beginning of our growing sports programs, in 1988, the Academy hired its first Athletic Director.
In 1990 renters dominated the housing market, totaling nearly 50 percent, with single-family houses beginning to replace apartments.
Over the years the program grew and by the early 1990’s player enrollment reached 1,000.
The program continued to grow and by the late 1990’s enrollment surpassed 1500.
In 1993, to further spiritual growth and better prepare our students as Christian leaders, the advent of our Spiritual Life Fellowships sparked a renewed sense of commitment in the lives of our Middle and Senior High students.
Car dealerships were prevalent along Ogden Avenue and generated 40 percent of the sales tax revenue in 1994.
In 1996, West-Mont became aware that a 10-acre parcel of land was available for purchase directly bordering and south of the existing North Coventry Campus.
Westmont's population had grown to 24,554 in 2000, with 12 percent Asian, 7 percent Latino, and 5 percent African American.
In 2001, through the goodwill of the Gottshall family, HillTop Farm on Royersford Road in Limerick was purchased.
Jayne Avendano '19: Jayne graduated from Westmont with a degree in History in 2019.
Doctor Mallampalli was on research leave for the 2021-22 academic year.
