The Analytical Research and Development (AR&D) laboratory that supports evaluation and testing of raw materials, excipients, APIs, in-process and finished product samples. AR&D also performs development and validation of methods used to support release and stability testing of non-commercial products and materials. The department provides analytical services to manufacturing, process development, validation and new material qualifications. AR&D interacts with clients to provide not only research and testing of products, but also support CMC development activities in support of client regulatory filings. Activities are performed in accordance with specifications, standard operating procedures, approved test methods and/or protocols, regulatory requirements, and St. Petersburg's Quality departmental policies. The **Analytical Laboratory Clerk, Research and Development** supports AR&D by maintaining an operating laboratory, including tasks such as: disposing of laboratory waste, stocking the warehouse with solvents, ensuring solvents in the laboratory are stocked, restocking of lab consumables, performing routine review of standard inventory and removal of expired standards, and other services as necessary. The **Analytical Laboratory Clerk, R&D** is responsible to maintain reference standard and column inventories as well as reference standard COA database. The laboratory assistant will be responsible for cleaning of the dissolution baths, water baths, sonicators, and wiping down the bench tops. + Assist with gathering of supplies for analysts to execute daily work assignments. + Performs additional daily cleaning of communal areas to ensure hygienically safe for next user. + Ensures general use equipment areas are neat, clean and clear. + Assists with gathering data and making copies of reports and notebooks for customer and regulatory audits. + Separately, assists with providing copies of notebook pages to auditors for efficient auditing process on an as needed basis. + Embraces the continuous improvement attitude and contributes to laboratory operational excellence. The Cost Accountant serves as the financial business partner to operations and plant leadership in Riverview, FL. Reporting to the Site Controller, they will play a critical role in measuring cost efficiencies in a complex plant environment. This is an onsite role providing visibility to senior leaders and the potential for career growth within our broader organization. Responsibilities Product costing and standard cost maintenance, maintain accurate standard costs for raw materials, labor, overheads and analyze BOMs, routings and production processes to ensure proper cost. Ensure the correct application of internal controls and policies related to cost accounting and/or inventory management. Prepare detailed inventory reconciliations by comparing perpetual inventory vs GL inventory accounts and solve any variance to ensure an accurate and clean inventory balance sheet. Cost variance analysis, monitoring and investigate variances between actual and standard cost (MUV, PPV, labor and overheads) and provide root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actions. Inventory valuation and control, ensure accurate inventory valuation using appropriate costing methods and perform regular inventory reconciliations, cycle counts and support physical inventory processes. Manufacturing performance reporting, prepare, analyze and consolidate costing KPIs and track cost drivers to identify opportunities for process and cost improvements. Budgeting and forecasting, providing support analyzing actual vs budgeted and provide explanations. Capital expenditure (Capex) tracking, supporting analysis and tracking of capital projects to ensure proper capitalization cost. What Nuclear Manufacturing contributes to Cardinal Health Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring. The primary work environment consists of a cyclotron and associated manufacturing facility for the production of PET radiopharmaceuticals, which must be kept clean, orderly, properly lighted and maintained in optimum operating condition. Employees handle radioactive materials and are exposed to very low amounts of radiation that are deemed safe by current standards. The facility is operated under well-controlled and closely monitored conditions that are regulated by both State and Federal agencies, and that are enforced by the corporate internal quality and regulatory group. Each staff member will receive specific training in keeping radiation exposures within regulatory guidelines and he/she will be routinely monitored for their exposure to radiation. Noise levels are considered low to moderate.
