As an Aircraft Inspector IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to inspect our aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and conformance to the manufacturer's specifications and government regulations.

Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures

Preferred:
Understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1
Thorough understanding of civil or government aviation inspection operations and/or FAA Repair Station operations Inspection Authorization (IA)

Education:

REQUIREMENTS:
Possesses a technical degree or 4-7 years equivalent work experience, MSSC Certification in Network Repair or Military training in the fields of electronic, radio, or mechanical systems in lieu of degree. Three or more years" experience leading teams.
Experience troubleshooting Servo drives, PLC, PC controllers, dc power supplies, optical devices (i.e., encoders, photo eyes, etc.)
Electrical troubleshooting skills to include wiring, AC power, AC motors, electrical drawings/schematics, and control panels.
Ability to work alone and / or provide technical direction to team members.
Ability to utilize CMMS to document work performed at customer sites
Ability to obtain and maintain certification to operate various forklift equipment.
Perform root cause analysis utilizing strong problem-solving / trouble-shooting skills.
Ability to communicate and execute classroom and practical training activities
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of industrial safety standards to include LOTO and PPE.
Strong electrical mechanical background and ability to troubleshoot problems.
Mechanical experience with gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers, etc.
Excellent verbal communication skills, written and verbal.
Have excellent customer service / interpersonal skills and possess a logical problem- solving mindset.
Knowledge of conveying systems and MS Office Suite.

Diesel Mechanic Position Summary:
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding basic preventative maintenance and repair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles to include tank trailer inspection and maintenance related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations is required.
Diesel Mechanic Essential Functions:
All fleet mechanic positions will be required to perform vehicle maintenance & repair duties safely and accurately in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment.
Fleet Mechanic Level III will learn and become proficient utilizing the company's maintenance software program to create and complete work orders and maintain work order/vehicle maintenance records. They will also train/assist other technicians in performing preventive/repair of facilities and equipment to include trucks, tractors, and trailers. They will also become qualified as necessary with appropriate certifications to perform new technology evaluations, diagnosis, and repairs.

Valid Driver's License

Position Summary
As the Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician, you will impact PSA Airlines' business growth by conducting aviation repairs and services that allow for operations to be on time. By executing maintenance procedures in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards, you are ensuring safe and reliable flights.
Job Responsibilities
* Will perform tasks necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and accept the responsibility for work performed by themselves and/or in conjunction with others and sign for same on the Company's approved forms.
* Keep work areas clean. Return all equipment and tools to assigned areas. A&P Technicians will report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic in charge.
* Work will consist of and include any and all phases of repair and maintenance of aircraft with the aid of the employee's own tools, specialty tools provided by the Company, the use of test equipment, and Company-supplied technical manuals.
* In certain cases, and A&P Technician may be authorized to perform required inspection items and assist in Company training programs.
* Will at the commencement of each repair or inspection initiate the proper documentation. Parts tags will include a complete description of the discrepancy on all removed parts. Determine if the work to be performed is a Required Inspection Item.
* Verifying, through proper documentation, that any part installed on any aircraft or component is approved for that aircraft or component and has been visually inspected and is free of damage or contamination.
* Assure that hangar workshops and other areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
* Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor through the Lead Mechanic.

Ensure our fleet meets aircraft standards as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
Maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and all their components while in service or while undergoing scheduled overhaul maintenance
Completed tasks according to FAA regulations, company policies and procedures, and instructions from Crew Chiefs, Supervisors and Managers
Certify the quality of personal workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases for field work
Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries for any maintenance performed
A wide variety of duties are performed such as dismantling, overhauling, repairing, fabricating, assembling, welding and erecting all parts of an aircraft; which includes airframe, engines, radio equipment, instruments, electrical systems, heating systems, cooling systems, and hydraulic systems
Test and inspect parts, subassemblies or completed assemblies
Assure the shop/work area is maintained in a safe and orderly manner.
If qualified, may be responsible for taxiing and towing aircraft for maintenance purposes
Qualifications

Minimum Age: 18
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
Valid state driver's license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this position
Ability to differentiate colors such as: red, green, yellow, blue, black, brown, white and orange
Ability to lift items weighing up to 60 lbs.
Willing and able to work rotating shifts including, nights, holidays, weekends and days off
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Possess the legal right to work in the United States
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
Position Preferences
A minimum of one (1) year of aircraftmaintenance experience
FCC General Radio Telephone Operators license
Additional Details
Mechanics must maintain a valid passport and the ability to travel freely to and from all of the cities/countries served by our Airline in order to complete field trips
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement (unless in Abilene, TX)
Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
If applicable, Federal law requires Envoy to determine an applicant's history of Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and/or alcohol violation(s) or refusal(s) to test before hiring him/her into a safety-sensitive position

Jet Excellence, LLC (formerly BellAir), a growing Part 135 charter company specializing in passenger service with a fleet of Citation X's, is currently hiring A&P Mechanics at our Raleigh Executive Jetport (TTA) maintenance facility in Sanford, North Carolina.
We're looking for experienced A&P-certified mechanics who are motivated, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality aircraftmaintenance and customer service.
For candidates who are not local to the Sanford, NC area, we are offering an 8 days on / 8 days off rotation for mechanics who prefer a scheduled travel arrangement. Team members on this schedule will work at our Sanford, NC facility for 8 days, then be airlined home for their 8 days off. A housing stipend is included to support living arrangements during your time on rotation.

What You'll Do:
Perform troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft systems, including electrical and avionics
Follow FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures
Support the maintenance facility and mobile AOG (Aircraft on Ground) response teams
Work under the guidance of the Lead Mechanics and Director of Maintenance
Keep detailed maintenance records and stay accountable for the aircraft in your care
For experienced candidates: supervise technicians, support scheduling, and lead technical performance
What You'll Need:
Ability to work legally in the United States and not require sponsorship.
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Entry-level A&P candidates: no prior experience required, but motivation and reliability are a must
Experienced candidates: 2+ years in aircraftmaintenance, preferably with leadership experience
Familiarity with the following aircraft is a plus: Hawker 800XP, Citation X series is a plus
Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet use)
What We Offer:
Pay Range: $30-$65/hr depending on years and level of experience
(Entry-level candidates will start at the lower end of this range)
