What you can expect as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at West Star: This hourly position requires an energetic individual to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented shipping/receiving position. They will need to work well under pressure and with time constraints. Accurate data entry with excellent organizational skills are essential. Ideal candidates must be able to read and interpret documents such as vendor invoices, packing slips, bills of lading and internal company documents. Experience with regard to receiving inspections, documentation and traceability of aircraft parts per FAA regulations helpful but not required. This position is key to ensuring effective and efficient shipping and receiving of product. Experience in handling static sensitive and fragile electromechanical product helpful but not required. You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including: Receive all incoming parts under strict FAA receiving regulations. Verify material with invoice or packing sheet. Stage parts for distribution by runners to various work orders and other departments. Receive and prep shipments for outside sales customers. Package shipments with proper labeling by carrier. What you can expect as a Lead Avionics Install Technician at West Star: As a Lead your main focus will be centered on leading a team of technicians to produce timely results that are of the highest quality and accuracy. This position requires a strong knowledge of aircraft electrical, electronic, and instrument systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair those systems. The job includes varying amounts of parts replacement or repair, electrical troubleshooting, inspection of aircraft or systems and general mechanic application. Supervision of the team and direction of project flow will be a primary function. Overall coordination of work flow for the project will also be a primary function. Work order processing, log book, entries, required FAA forms and pricing to the customers are routine duties.
