What you can expect as an MRO Services Technician at DAS Aviation:
These Technicians will be responsible for completing repairs on aircraft parts and components. This position requires the Technician to display a professional demeanor and create a work environment that fosters mutual respect between co-workers, customers and vendors. This challenging position requires the Technician to be a team player, working across various departments, while accomplishing tasks with minimal supervision and a strong sense of focus on details, quality and safety.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:
Ensure that all work is done in a safe and professional manner, and in accordance with approved or acceptable technical data and work practices. The data will include manufacturer's maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins, part specifications, Codes of Federal Regulation, Type Certificate Data Sheets, Airworthiness Directives, and any other approved Federal Aviation Administration data or other approved technical data for use by the Repair Station.
Comply with current Federal Aviation Regulations, as well as Repair Station and Quality Control Manual Policies and Procedures.
Ensure that all necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and work orders used by the Repair Station are properly executed.
Ensure work area cleanliness and good housekeeping to promote a safe operation.
When work away from the Repair Station is required, ensure that all processes and procedures are followed in accordance with this Repair Station Manual.
Ensure that proper tooling and equipment is utilized, calibrated, and in good working order for the maintenance task being accomplished.
Ensure that the repair and overhaul of all articles and components is accomplished within the authority of the Repair Station and that the work is inspected by the inspection department.
Ensure the proper handling and tagging of all parts while in the repair process and through work completion.
Ensure incoming parts, supplies, and articles receive an incoming inspection (Receiving Inspection) to determine airworthiness prior to use for a repair or modification.
Ensure no defective, non-conformed, or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component or assembly.
Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Your Education:
A High school diploma or equivalent is required. A technical degree is preferred. . A valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal

Your Sense of Responsibility:
Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.

Diesel Mechanic Position Summary:
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding basic preventative maintenance and repair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles to include tank trailer inspection and maintenance related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations is required.
Diesel Mechanic Essential Functions:
All fleet mechanic positions will be required to perform vehicle maintenance & repair duties safely and accurately in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment.
Fleet Mechanic Level III will learn and become proficient utilizing the company's maintenance software program to create and complete work orders and maintain work order/vehicle maintenance records. They will also become qualified as necessary with appropriate certifications to perform new technology evaluations, diagnosis, and repairs.

Valid Driver's License

Delivery/Assembly Contractor Teams:
You will be offered all types of work and you choose what work to accept. Most work requires a qualified helper. For all work, Cargo, sprinter, or smaller box truck required.
There are different service types available to the customer. As the service provider you may receive different order types:
Assembly Only- Arrive at customers home and build existing product
Delivery Only- Pick up at local retailer. Deliver according to client instructions on order
Delivery and Assembly- involves pick up of items at a local retailer, deliver and assemble in customers homes.
Products serviced:

furniture
home goods
portable and inground basketball hoops (concrete experience preferred)
backyard products (quickset pools, playset, pergola, grills and similar products)

Qualifications

Must have a reliable helper. Two-man teams required
Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov
Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
MVR are performed for all driving contractors
You must be committed to providing exceptional customer service, be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills

What you will do
Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems. 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field or at least 3 years of industry experience or experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
Generally required knowledge includes HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.
Effective interpersonal skills to properly represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.

PC experience required and the ability to program HVAC related software.

Job Summary: Peak Water Services is seeking a Field Services Lead to join our team. In this key role, you will coordinate and perform hands-on work across water and wastewater systems, ensuring optimal performance through field troubleshooting, repairs, equipment maintenance, and customer support. You will be working with a variety of utility infrastructure, including water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, lift stations, pumps, electrical panels, and SCADA system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze customer or company needs and develop daily work plans for yourself and field personnel.
Maintain proactive communication with management, administrative staff, and sales teams.
Coordinate and perform troubleshooting, repairs, and startup activities for utility systems and equipment.
Review and interpret customer requirements, site layouts, and system documentation.
Maintain strong working relationships with customers by resolving complaints, offering system improvements, and implementing long-term solutions.
Ensure company vehicles and tools are accounted for, operational, and properly maintained.
Oversee repairs, preventative maintenance, and performance checks on utility infrastructure.
Operate and assist with equipment such as pumps, valves, instrumentation, SCADA interfaces, electrical panels, and telemetry systems.
Complete detailed reports, work logs, service forms, and digital records.
Track inventory, part usage, and maintenance actions consistently and accurately.
Lead or mentor field personnel when needed.

Qualifications:

What you will do
Under minimal supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on site, customer interface. With a high level of complete technical competence, mentors control technicians, service technicians and mechanical technicians on building automation activities. Properly completes required project and service documentation. Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items. How you will do it
Diagnoses and repairs complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software.
Consults with the customer through data gathered and site assessments. Provides field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and or enhancements to existing equipment. Assists sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads.
Manages assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction. Reports problems or changes to management immediately. Interfaces with branch manager, service manager, service project manager or subcontractors on projects to coordinate activities as required ethically and professionally.
Provides sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings. May assist with job layouts and bid proposals.
Install and modify software and graphics.
Communicates with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Meets regularly with customers to become familiar with operating problems. Keeps customer informed on the service provided, outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and replacement. Promotes the sale of add-on work.
Adheres to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards. Provides safety leadership and instruction to all control's technicians in the branch. Provides safety awareness while working onsite with Johnson Controls subcontractors.
Trains the customer in control systems operations. Delivers manuals and documentation to the customer for training needs as required.
Provides mentorship for certification of Controls Technicians and Service Technicians on complex building automation systems. Coaches, supports and trains the technical workforce on non-complex, non-critical equipment.
Compiles job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training form, training certificates and punch lists.
Conducts extensive self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company.
Other duties related to the installing, commissioning and servicing of building controls and facilities management systems and energy management systems, as assigned.
Assists in the design and configuration of building control systems as defined by the contract documents. Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, and bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics as required.
Assists in developing and testing software programs necessary to operate the system per the project requirements' intent.
Compiles and/or completes project as built and close-out documentation.
Assists in the coordination and creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.

Vocational School four year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field plus three years of industry experience or 2+ years experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
