Job Overview: The 2nd Shift Supervisor is responsible to the Repair Station Manager for the management of the 2nd shift production and the oversite of employees. Coordinating the daily operations during the shift. The Supervisor will oversee maintaining high productivity and maintaining a safe and consistently positive employee experience. You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including: * Structures, Paint, Nacelle, Bond * Execute preplanned repair operations for work orders, establish priorities and sequencing within assigned departments for working components. * Manage operational schedules and coordinate shop activities to ensure processes and quality of products meet customer expectations and delivery schedules. * Coordinate with supporting departments to implement methods and improvements. * Develop the personnel within responsibility area to achieve departmental goals. * Perform personnel evaluations within responsible areas. * Provide guidance to personnel on technical development, performance and shop issues. * Maintaining all work areas and shop equipment and tools in a serviceable working condition, assuring that periodic checks and calibrations are made on special tools and test equipment, and that current records are maintained of those tests and calibrations. * Ensure that all necessary production entries on work orders used by the Repair Station are properly executed by the responsible mechanics. * Ensures personnel are performing at an expected/satisfactory level of Quality * Ensure that the personnel are observing the safety precautions relevant to the functions for which they may be utilized. * Supervises the proper handling of all parts while in the Repair process and when work is completed. What you'll need to bring with you: Education: * High School Graduate or GED equivalent. (college credit is a plus). * Valid Driver's License Your Experience * 3-5 years aircraft/component maintenance.
