Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections on all vehicles. Provides written Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) post trip or shift. Ensure all potential safety defects are reported to the Transportation Supervisor.
Responsible for ensuring all necessary paperwork for the transfer of inmates/detainees in accordance with LaSalle Corrections Transport, LLC. (LCT, LLC.) and LaSalle Corrections policies, procedures, and contractual agreements.
Provide custody safety and security of offenders/detainees. Responsible for the transfer of offenders/detainees from one agency to another.
Read, review, and properly apply information found in inmate records which is related to the inmates' health and safety and to the security of the facility. Provide appropriate information to other personnel.
Shall obey all applicable traffic laws, drive the posted speed limits, and must wear safety belts. All drivers will drive facility vehicles in a safe and defensive manner according to policy and procedures.
Ensure the sanitation of transport vehicles by cleaning after every transfer; sink, toilet, lavatory and adequately maintain a log.
Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed.
Maintain accountability of staff, inmates, and property; adhere to safety practices.
Perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
Comply with Federal, State, FMCSA Regulations and DOT Regulations.

The American Red Cross is hiring SAF/IS Reserve employees to join our elite workforce of mobile employees to deploy to overseas locations in support of military personnel and DOD civilians. Possible deployment locations are Kuwait, Djibouti, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania.
This overseas Reserve deployment occurs twice a year with the next anticipated deployment in 2026.
These positions are remote based with a time commitment of approximately 6 months of being deployed overseas. Candidates may reside any location in the United States or US Territories to be considered for deployment.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
SAF/IS Reservist assist in the delivery of American Red Cross programs and services to meet the needs of United States military members, veterans, and their families in accordance with Red Cross policies and procedures. SAF/IS Mobile Reservist are an elite workforce required to deploy on 6-month rotations serving alongside military members in designated theaters of operations around the world. Reservist must be ready to deploy when called upon, and to do so are required to meet and maintain specific medical and readiness requirements. Requirements for Reserve employment includes the following:
* Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a secret security clearance and a no-fee U.S. passport.
* Worldwide mobility is a condition of employment and an essential function of this position.
* Must accept work assignments anywhere in the world, including conflict areas, where the American Red Cross is providing services to members of the military and their families.
* Must meet strict medical and physical requirements, including immunizations required by the U.S. military.
* May be required to wear military uniforms, and live and work in harsh and stressful environment in conflict areas.

* Emergency Communications: Provide emergency communications services between military personnel and their families.

* Once activated for deployment, employees will meet regularly with senior leadership to ensure readiness and ability to backfill OCONUS SAF-IS Mobile and Reserve positions as needed.
* Additional training with site specific scenarios with the current employee members at their deployment location is required.
* Additional deployment medical requirements must be met.
* Must obtain a no-fee passport prior to deployment and a Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC) upon arrival.
The salary range for this position is $47,900 -$50,000. Deployment and Readiness Incentives are available while deployed. If selected for this role, your deployment will take place in 2026 or beyond
Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. The annual salary will be pro-rated depending on the amount of time worked and will paid bi-weekly. Upon returning from your deployment, you will be placed in an inactive status and will no longer be receiving payment.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field; or relevant equivalent experience is required.

The Regional Executive-CEO oversees the achievement of core mission delivery including performance targets in mission, communications/marketing, volunteer services, operational management, blood donor sponsorship support and recruitment, and fundraising. Serves as the face of the American Red Cross for various community initiatives; the media, donors, biomedical initiatives, blood sponsors and their communities. Manage regional functional officers chapter leaders. Partner in a matrix system structure with division leadership to ensure organizational programs are executed. Develop and engage volunteer boards and community volunteer leadership. Builds a diverse and an engaged regional employee and volunteer workforce representative of the communities served and who uphold the core values of the American Red Cross.

1. Deliver overall targets/goals of the region including service delivery, workforce engagement, biomed support, revenue, and expense. Maintain compliance with corporate governance, policies, and governmental regulations. Ensure sound financial management and public accountability for contributions, income, expense, and all Red Cross assets. In partnership with division leadership, provide leadership and management of assigned staff, deliver Red Cross programs and services and uphold the core values of the organization.
2. In conjunction with the division fundraising & development leadership, work together to achieve the fundraising goals across assigned region. Actively participate in developing fundraising strategies and fundraising efforts to grow financial resources within the region.
3.Build and cultivate strong external relationships with key organizations and community leaders. Partners include donors, blood sponsors, governments, corporations, civic organizations, military, and other community charitable and nonprofit agencies.
4. Ensure strong visibility for the American Red Cross in the regional jurisdiction. Increase and leverage community awareness and commitment to the American Red Cross by being an active community participant. Ensure regular local media and social media communications regarding all Red Cross services and regional/national activities, consistent with regional/national communication strategies.
5. Build a strong collaborative environment across all lines of service and business units in the region to effectively deliver against the Red Cross mission. Provide leadership and strategy for improved performance. Ensure that community needs are communicated to the lines of services and business units and that the American Red Cross programs and capacity needs are communicated to the community.
6. Build regional capacity for service delivery in all lines of service through program development and the engagement and retention of volunteers and partners. Ensure consistent, responsive, and timely delivery of high-quality services throughout the region. Ensure youth and young adults are engaged through a network of Red Cross Clubs which are integrated into the service delivery plans. May be called upon to serve roles in coordination with national response operations.
7. Oversee the board members and community volunteer leaders within an assigned region or geographic area. Build and guide activities of chapter boards. Ensure diversity of board leadership, representation of major organizations and community leaders, and maintaining board committees that support the mission through advocacy, fundraising and service delivery. Lead and support the selection and engagement of diverse Community Volunteer Leaders who further the Red Cross mission in assigned geographic areas.
Salary: The salary range for this position is $185-,000 - $195,000. +Incentive.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Prefer Master's degree in the field of community organization, public or business administration or nonprofit management.
Experience: Minimum 7 years related experience in the profit or not-for-profit sector in business, sales or corporate administration.
Management Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience directing a workforce and program management responsibilities.
Skills & Abilities: Shape, lead, motivate and develop leadership teams. Work on a diverse team of Executives. Demonstrate ability to develop effective work teams and build consensus within the organization and community. Exercise good and timely judgments in complex situations. Possess strong communication and influencing skills along with public speaking and writing. Ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies. Travel: Regular regional travel is required up to 25%. This position is NOT eligible for relocation assistance.

As a Community Disaster Program Manager, you will ensure effective collaboration with Volunteer Services; identify, mobilize, and engage partners in all communities in assigned geographic area; and determine current readiness resources, facilities, supplies, local vendors, and strategies for addressing gaps. You will work with volunteers to ensure that the communities you serve are ready to respond to disasters.
Join us in meeting the needs of continuous disaster response! Regional disaster employees are required to deploy to disaster relief operations outside of their region at a minimum of once a year. We are currently seeking a professional, innovative, and enthusiastic Executive Director to lead our Hill Country Chapter in the Central and South Texas Region.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Reporting to the Regional Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Director (ED) serves as the Meta Leader for the Chapter, leading the strategy for mission delivery within the chapter's jurisdiction. The ED is supported by the chapter leadership team, community volunteer leaders, colleagues from the regional leadership team, and the chapter board. This role is a high-visibility, public-facing position responsible for strengthening community partnerships, mobilizing resources, and ensuring the effective delivery of the American Red Cross mission at the local level. The ED is also a member of the Regional Leadership Team.
This position will work in our Kerrville office three days a week.

This is accomplished through the following key areas of responsibility:
Strategic Leadership & Mission Delivery
Leads the chapter's strategy for mission fulfillment, aligning local priorities with regional and national goals.
Provides facilitative leadership to local teams and ensures integration with regional initiatives.
Community Engagement & Representation
Serves as the Face of the Red Cross in the community to maximize visibility, connectivity, and recognition of the organization's impact.
Builds and sustains relationships with key stakeholders, elected officials, and community partners to expand mission capacity.
Board Development & Governance
Develops and manages the chapter board to effectively mobilize support, resources, and advocacy for the Red Cross mission.
Ensures board engagement in fundraising, community outreach, and strategic planning.
Volunteer Leadership & Capacity Building
Recruits, develops, and manages Community Volunteer Leaders to represent the Red Cross in assigned territories.
Supports volunteer engagement strategies to strengthen mission delivery and community partnerships.
Fundraising & Resource Development
Partners with development staff and board members to drive fundraising efforts and secure financial resources to sustain chapter operations.
Collaboration & Team Culture
Fosters an environment of teamwork, inclusion, and accountability across employees, volunteers, and partners.
Serves, when assigned, as a member of the Elected Officials Liaison Network supporting disaster responses nationwide.
This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.
You will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan based on annual individual and organization performance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Preferred experience in the ability to build sustain community relationships/partnerships and in influencing others and building relationships preferred.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to work on a team.

Physical Requirements: Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. The Volunteer Recruitment Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing broad-based recruitment strategies to attract and identify Red Cross volunteers to effectively support Regional goals and mission critical activities. Provide coaching, guidance and subject-matter-expertise related to recruitment activities of prospective volunteers to effectively support goals and ensure placement of sufficient numbers of volunteers to meet operational needs. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
Utilize comprehensive recruitment strategies to meet assigned volunteer recruitment metrics, effectively support goals and ensure placement of sufficient numbers of volunteers to meet operational needs. Conduct general and targeted outreach and recruiting activities through various resource pools, networks and social media to obtain volunteer applicants tracked to referral and approval.
Leverage recruitment venues, in-person presentations, social media campaigns, user groups and professional associations to identify and attract to qualified candidates. Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key volunteer recruitment agencies/organizations, market segments, and populations to create a robust network and strong candidate pipeline for future needs. Partner with assigned staff to strengthen existing relationships, and identify and evaluate prospective volunteer recruitment sources and partnerships.
Evaluate and modify recruitment strategies based on lessons-learned. Support the development and ongoing refinement of the Volunteer Recruitment Plan to include both in-person and digital strategies.
Provide coaching and guidance to volunteer recruitment teams (paid and volunteers), and foster a culture of volunteerism that supports recruitment strategies.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to leverage existing or develop new recruitment materials. Create presentations to ensure maximum effectiveness for online and in-person targeted recruitment efforts.
Maintain accurate records of all potential and actual volunteer leads through the appropriate tools. Produce status reports as directed.
Support volunteer programs and services to meet established goals and objectives. May assist in scheduling and coordinating volunteer orientations, placements, meetings and events.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Skills & Abilities: Ability to work on a team. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple and continuously evolving priorities effectively. Intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of group dynamics, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs is preferred.

The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Fundraising Business Development Director to support our Southwest Rocky Mountain Division. This division supports the following states: TX, LA, NM, AZ, AR, NV, UT, CO, MO, OK, and WY. This is a hybrid position. 25% to 40% of the time will be spent traveling to meet donors throughout the Division, and the remainder will be spent in a home office.

The Fundraising Business Development Director is responsible for meeting revenue goals and continuing to diversify donor support within the specific geographic territory. Incumbents will identify and develop new corporate relationships to support corporate philanthropic giving and/or corporate social responsibility initiatives (e.g., cause-marketing campaigns, employee engagement, in-kind support, co-branding, etc.) to maximize awareness and revenue impact for the organization. Conduct ongoing analysis of prospects within assigned territory and refine new prospect/donor selection and cultivation process. This role is not eligible for relocation.

(Key Responsibilities):
Implement overall fundraising strategy, managing assigned donor portfolio to maximize revenue growth and engage donors in the mission of the organization. Portfolios typically include complex donor solicitation of corporations with 7-figure+ donor capacity and propensity. Ultimately, transition account to relationship manager for ongoing cultivation, stewardship and solicitation after programmatic support has been established.
Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue from primarily corporate accounts with significant capacity.
Develop strategies to identify and leverage relationships with C-suite contacts. Secure meetings, make presentations, prepare proposals, and directly solicit to cultivate and grow relationships.
Work collaboratively with other departments and partner with development staff at the national and/or regional offices to prepare presentations and proposals matching the objectives and interests of the donor/prospect.
Compile and analyze data/information about accounts in portfolio for the development of solicitation strategy.
Pay Information:
The salary range for this position is $106,000-$130,000.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
