Ensure CCHC employees and vendor staff performing AR functions are compliant with policies, procedures and processes; measure and address all areas of non-compliance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and compliance, for state and federal agency, changes impacting billing requirements and operations.
Collaborate with other disciplines, IT partner and vendors to implement changes needed to address payer and regulatory billing requirement changes and denial prevention.
Ensure vendors and CCHC revenue cycle employees are appropriately educated and trained as well as department policies and processes are modified, as required, to stay current.
Work with Managed Care department, payor representative, vendors and all other departments within CCHC and Physician Practices to resolve outstanding account receivable issues
Ensure negotiated contracts are being administered and reimbursed according to contractual terms and rates. Assist managed care in the resolution of contract payment issues.
Confirm staff are consistently performing performance-monitoring processes.
Define, implement, and monitor strategies to improve overall patient financial services processing efficiency.
Ensure that denial trends identified are managed and tracked to improvement ensuring mitigation strategies are consistently implemented.
Manage to applicable Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”). Define and implement action plans when performance is not meeting expectations.
Assess workflow prioritization on a regular basis to confirm that AR metrics and benchmarks are consistently achieved.
Originate and/or execute a portfolio of performance improvement projects for overall revenue cycle enhancement

The Role
:
As a Gatehouse Ranger, you are the backbone of operations, with emphasis on the facilitation and fulfillment of an outstanding visitor experience, including admissions and Over-Sand Vehicle (OSV) permit distribution.
Specifically, you'll:
Greet visitors in a welcoming manner; project the first impression of The Trustees and our special places.
Provide thoughtful and informed information about The Trustees, the property, history, ecology, and engagement programming.
Handle phone and email inquiries to provide prompt and accurate information on programming, directions, hours of operation, fees, et al.
Exercise confidence, a calm demeanor, and be able to articulate when confronted by unhappy or uncooperative visitors.
Participate in trainings for rangers, especially IT, membership, team building sessions and meetings with the Ecology and Education teams.

Job Description
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
* Providing care for boarding and hospitalized patients.
* Cleaning and sterilizing hospital areas, including treatment rooms, surgery, kennels, reception, and offices.
* Preparing and maintaining surgical instruments, tools, and equipment.
* Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
* Maintaining clean, organized, and stocked work areas.
* Reviewing care plans and records to determine animal needs.
* Documenting animal conditions, reactions, and progress; updating medical records and databases.
* Participating in ongoing training and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Contributing to a positive team environment and maintaining a high standard of patient care.
* Performing additional duties as assigned to support hospital operations.
Qualifications
We're looking for:
* Compassionate, calm, and a true team player with strong communication skills.
* Self-starter with the desire to continuously grow your knowledge and skill set.
* Outgoing, dependable, and able to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
* Physically and emotionally strong with a solid understanding of animal behavior and husbandry.
* Skilled in verbal communication, documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
* Able to contribute to a safe, efficient, and positive hospital environment.
* Action-oriented, energetic, patient, and able to multitask effectively.
* Must be able to properly restrain pets when needed.
* Experience in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing lab tests and radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring is a plus.
* Minimum of one year of veterinary assistant experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and genuine love for animals.

Pay range: $20/hr with pay increase available based on performance
