Monday - Friday
& Duties:
Executes various customer service, promotional, advertising, and stocking tasks associated with receiving, selling, and delivering parts and accessories. Contributes to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealership's parts department. Holds continuous responsibilities for aiding in counter parts sales and handling customer service duties. Key responsibilities typically include but not limited to:
Sell products to fulfill customer needs.
Demonstrate the ability to specify parts.
Uphold customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers.
Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized department.
Record all sales and customer transactions accurately.
Process cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as necessary.
Attend training sessions as directed by management to stay proficient in the job description.
Safely and skillfully utilize dealership equipment and resources.
Perform additional tasks as mandated by the Parts Manager.
Adhere to grooming and clothing standards as per dealership guidelines.
Answer phones promptly within 4 rings.
Follow up on all placed and processed orders to expedite parts delivery to customers.
Cross-sell all product lines and manufacturers when applicable.

Job Overview:

What You'll Do:

Inspect and maintain a daily process with valets to ensure all loaner vehicles are properly cleaned and sanitized before being loaned out and immediately upon return.
Support the team with daily completion and processing of loaner agreements as needed.
Manage toll and ticket collection for all loaner vehicles, ensuring follow-up until all amounts are collected.
Maintain accurate fleet records in the TSD system, including monthly on/off fleet log reviews and reconciliation with accounting records.
Reconcile customer bills, gas purchase statements, and other related financial records.
Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; record amounts received, make change, and issue receipts.
Close all open invoices and ensure completeness of repair orders, parts invoices, and rental documentation.
Handle customer complaints with professionalism and integrity, escalating to the appropriate individuals when necessary.
Provide clerical and secretarial assistance to the parts and service departments, including telephone coverage.
Collaborate with department management to stay informed of new products, services, pricing, and value offerings.
Maintain a professional appearance and keep work area neat and clean.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Automotive Receptionist
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time hours available.
Schedule: open schedule during showroom hours
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
Job Responsibilities:
Greet showroom customers, assess their needs, and determine the purpose of their visit.
Input customer demographic information into the dealership's sales control system.
Provide brochures and relevant information to customers.
Address basic inquiries and direct complex questions to appropriate team members.
Guide customers to the correct department and notify the appropriate salesperson.
Manage incoming calls as the telephone operator.
Provide clerical support when needed.
Maintain a polished, professional appearance.
Perform vehicle stocking in CDK.
Create key tags and ensure accurate key management.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a similar customer-facing role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage a multi-line phone system.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Experience with administrative support duties such as scheduling, data entry, and filing.
Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners.
