HealthAlliance Hospital, part of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible pulmonary/critical care physician to join our team. This position is primarily outpatient-focused, with an emphasis on pulmonary and sleep medicine, while also providing limited inpatient consultative and ICU coverage opportunities. Job Responsibilities:
Outpatient Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine:
Diagnose and manage a range of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary nodules.
Provide evaluation and treatment for sleep disorders, such as obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia.
Interpret pulmonary function tests.
Work closely with referring providers and respiratory therapists to optimize patient care.
Inpatient Consultative Services
Provide pulmonary consultations for hospitalized patients on an as-needed basis.
Work closely with the hospitals medical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
ICU Coverage
Participate in occasional ICU rounding or consults, offering critical care expertise.
Collaborate with ICU nurses and physicians to manage critically ill patients as needed.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with advanced practice providers (APPs), nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Participate in departmental initiatives, quality improvement projects, and hospital committees.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
Follow hospital guidelines for billing, coding, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications/Requirements:
MD or DO degree.
Board certified/board eligible in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.
Additional Sleep Medicine certification or interest in sleep medicine is preferred but not required.
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Overview
We are currently recruiting for an open attending faculty position in Hematology/Oncology at the Maimonides Cancer Center. We have particular needs in the areas of hematology (benign and malignant), gynecologic and genitourinary oncology, as well as sarcoma. We currently have an active practice group of 9 full time faculty, all of whom subspecialize in 2-3 disease sites. Call and consult weeks are shared among all of the faculty. Our Cancer Center comprises a 30-chair infusion unit, pediatric oncology and state-of-the-art radiation oncology all at the same location. Our fellowship program, consisting of 3 fellows per year, provides ample opportunities for teaching, and we have an experienced research team available for clinical trials support. We have multidisciplinary tumor boards in all areas of oncology with participation of surgeons, pathologists and radiologists.

* Graduate from an accredited medical school
* Graduate from an accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program
* American Board of Internal Medicine certification in Internal Medicine
