Union membership is not required to apply--new employees will receive information about union membership and benefits during onboarding As a member of the branch production team, you will be responsible for the performance of work within a particular work area and in accordance with generally accepted standards of the crafts. Laying bricks using mortar as a binder and a trowel to level. Working safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights. Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks. Prepares surfaces by cutting and/or grinding out problem areas of walls and floors. Cuts out, repairs, preps, packs and caulks joints of walls and floors. Sprays, brushes, rolls or applies material to surfaces of walls and floors as specified. May be required to rig mobile and stationary scaffolding in accordance with corporate guidelines. Requirements To be qualified for this job, experience in a trade or craft is preferred. To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate sufficient reading, writing and math skills to comprehend and explain company safety policies and material instruction. Physically, workers must be able to stand or walk for long periods; lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more; climb ladders, scaffolds and other objects carrying tools and equipment; and see (naturally or with correction). Ability to work at heights, extreme temperatures and to wear company's safety equipment is essential. Must be able to use logical step-by-step procedures in working with different materials using a variety of skills.
