Pros of working at WECC

Work life balance.

Cons of working at WECC

There is little to no advancement opportunities. The management is highly disconnected. Salary is low for this line of work. Raises come slowly. Good ole boys culture.

WECC has great health insurance.

What do you like best about WECC's CEO and the leadership team?

The CEO is very kind. However, her focus is more or less based on the Executive team and not much else.

How would you improve WECC's culture?

By having management communicate with employees.

How did you prepare for the WECC interview?

Review the NERC Standards, and research the power grid fundamentals.

How does your compensation at WECC compare to the industry average?

WECC’s compensation is great for some and not so good for others. It really depends on if you require a higher salary upfront because once your hired wages come slowly and new employees will be hired at a hire salary because they asked for it.
