This is a day cab position hauling a 50' or doubles dry vans. Routes will start from Rite Aid DC in Lancaster, CA and delivers to Rite Aid stores in Southern CA. Drivers will off load the store deliveries with pallet jack and lift gate on the trailer. Drivers will also need to down stack some freight in order to get the pallet manageable to clear the trailer and getting through store's receiving door. Drivers will also pick up and load any returns, pallets, totes coming back to the DC from the store. Drivers are expected to follow all other protocols and procedures set by Rite Aid. All drivers are required to have Doubles Endorsement. Drivers may obtain Doubles Endorsement within 90 days of joining the fleet. All trucks are slip seated and drivers will be assigned a truck at the time of dispatch. Schedule is Monday through Friday with start times between 1000-1800.
