Summary of Position: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the physical facilities (buildings and grounds). Responsible for snow plowing. Completes assigned work orders independently and within a team atmosphere. Responsible for special assignments and projects at the direction of the Facility Operations Manager and Physical Plant Director. Occasional weekend and Holidays as needed for snow plowing. Hours of position will be 400am-1230pm Monday-Friday with occasional weekend and Holidays as needed for snow plowing or emergency cleaning. Essential Functions 1. Snow Plowing - Supporting Action/Task May Include: * Plow using mechanical equipment such as skid steer, pick-up trucks with snow plows and box salters, forklifts and trucks with hydraulic dump boxes, Toolcat, Ventrac, etc.. * Physically shovel walkways * Apply ice melter (through mechanical and physical application) * Haul snow off site (driving to off-campus location and dumping snow; operating dump truck, skid steer, and end loader) 6.
