The Department of Theatre and Dance serves 200 undergraduate majors annually and offers a BA in Theatre, a BA and BFA in Dance, as well as minors in both majors. About the Position The Dance Program maintains a vacancy pool of qualified persons interested in temporary teaching positions. In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, applications are accepted continuously for temporary non-tenure track teaching positions on a part-time basis with occasional opportunities for temporary, full-time appointments. Positions may become available at any time and are typically filled on a quarterly basis.

Our goal is to teach a physical and intellectual understanding of the language of movement art.

The successful candidate will lead the development of a new Comprehensive Asthma Program at Seattle Children's Hospital. The faculty member will engage in pediatric rheumatology clinical care in the outpatient, inpatient, and outreach settings, as well as immunosuppressive medication management and intraarticular aspirations/injections. The Division of Rheumatology, at Seattle Children's Hospital and Research Institute and the University of Washington, is world-renowned as one of the oldest programs in the world and is the largest in the United States - with 13 physicians and 4 nurses that serve the states of Washington, Alaska, Idaho and Montana. Our diverse population of patients come primarily from these states, and represent a wide range of ethnicities and backgrounds as well as unique and rare diseases. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (PBSCI) at the University of Washington is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Director of the Division of Addictions. The position may be supported, in part, by an endowment from the Nicole K. Engle Endowed Professorship for Addiction Medicine funded by the Garvey Institute for Brain Health Solutions (GIBHS) pending approval of the Dean of the School of Medicine and the UW Board of Regents. JOB SUMMARY AND STRUCTURE
The holder of this senior leadership role will be charged with providing leadership for an exceptional clinical, educational, and translational research program focused on improving the lives of individuals and families affected by substance use disorders, adapting or developing preventive or therapeutic approaches and solutions for individuals and families struggling with addiction problems, and facilitating productive collaboration among a diverse group of addiction researchers, clinicians, educators and policy makers who collectively make up the department's Division of Addictions. The holder of this position is expected to make significant contributions to teaching and research in this field and to support and facilitate impactful contributions and collaboration of their colleagues.

We seek a visionary leader to head our Phase I Developmental Therapeutics Program, focusing on innovative therapies to provide hope and healing to cancer patients. This Program Head will lead and oversee the development and execution of early-phase clinical trials for novel cancer therapies. This role is crucial in translating groundbreaking research into clinical practice, ensuring the safe and efficient evaluation of new treatments. The successful candidate will partner with leaders of the Fred Hutch immunotherapy integrated research center and cell-based therapy team to develop and execute an institutional early phase trial strategy. The Program Head will foster strong collaborations with translational researchers and clinical investigators at UW and Fred Hutch and will forge partnerships with biotech and pharmaceutical industry partners to grow the phase I program assets and advance our mission of delivering transformative cancer therapies to our patients.
The Program Head's overall responsibility will be to maintain and expand our Phase 1 clinical trials program in collaboration with our immune therapy and cell-based therapy teams. The associate medical director of the mesosystem and dyad lead of a microsystem for quality improvement and patient safety within the CBDC (the clinical service line for the CBDP) provides medical leadership for clinical quality improvement activities along with the medical director of the mesosystem to help hematology/oncology leadership ensure that patients receive safe, high-quality care within our service line. Leadership responsibilities include identifying, aligning, and providing oversight to address key priorities for the organization, academic division of hematology, oncology, bone marrow transplant and cellular therapies, CBDC, and SCH Center for Quality. These activities are undertaken in direct partnership with the medical director of the mesosystem as well as the Center for Quality and Safety.
