Examples of Duties:
The Associate Modeler supports the development, maintenance, and application of regional travel
demand and land use models through the practice of engineering, planning, and research. This highly
technical, detail-oriented position requires strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
as well as the ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly to both technical and
non-technical audiences.
Working independently or collaboratively under the guidance of senior staff, the Associate Modeler
prepares and manages model inputs, codes multimodal transportation networks, analyzes travel
behavior and system performance data, supports automation and scripting of modeling workflows, and
contributes to maps, charts, and reports that inform regional transportation planning efforts.

Typical Qualifications-Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
An Associate Modeler should possess a working knowledge of the principles, practices, and
techniques of urban or transportation modeling and planning. Ideally, the candidate has experience
with or an enthusiastic interest in using transportation modeling software and GIS.
Coding/scripting skills (Python, R) are a plus. Good candidates should enjoy detailed technical
work, critical thinking about transportation systems, and analytical problem solving. Good
communication (written and oral) abilities are essential and a strong knowledge of Microsoft
Office. Significant math, algebra, and statistical training are required, along with the ability to
produce graphs and charts to summarize data for reports. The ability to maintain a positive working

Key Responsibilities
Wireless & RF Network Design and Management
Design, deploy, and support enterprise-grade wireless and RF-based networks, including Wi-Fi, DAS, private LTE/5G, and related wireless technologies.
Perform RF site surveys (passive, active, and predictive), spectrum analysis, and capacity planning to ensure optimal coverage, performance, and reliability.
Create detailed wireless and RF designs using heat mapping, propagation modeling, and predictive planning tools (e.g., Ekahau, AirMagnet, iBwave, or similar).
Analyze RF environments to identify interference sources, noise, attenuation, and coverage gaps; recommend and implement corrective actions.
Validate wireless and RF deployments through post-install surveys and performance testing.
Wireless Operations & Optimization
Configure, tune, and optimize wireless systems including access points, controllers, radios, antennas, and associated infrastructure.
Troubleshoot complex wireless and RF issues related to connectivity, roaming, latency, interference, and throughput.
Monitor wireless network health, RF performance, and capacity; produce reports and recommendations for ongoing improvements.
Stay current on emerging wireless standards, RF technologies, and best practices.
Security & Standards
Implement and maintain wireless security standards and best practices (e.g., WPA2/3-Enterprise, 802.1X, RADIUS, segmentation).
Support secure design principles across wireless and RF deployments, including compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Assist in responding to wireless-related security incidents and performance degradation events.
General Networking & Collaboration
Collaborate with wired network teams on LAN/WAN integration to ensure seamless end-to-end connectivity.
Assist with configuration and troubleshooting of switches, routers, and firewalls as they relate to wireless and RF solutions.
Provide technical guidance and escalation support to internal teams and customers.

Requirements
Qualifications:

Survey Scout Trainee Position Summary:
Under the supervision of an assigned Regional Field Manager, the Survey Scout is responsible for discovering property corner monuments and performing preliminary reconnaissance in preparation for the arrival of a survey crew. The survey scout will use a magnetic locator (metal detector) and a shovel to discover and expose property corner monuments. Safe operation of a company vehicle is a must as the Survey Scout will frequently travel between job sites on a daily basis. Survey Scouts will be trained to understand legal survey documents including legal descriptions, property deeds, sub-plats, and tax maps. It is intended that the Survey Scout will progress through a well-ordered Survey Scout Training Program that will develop the Scout into a Survey Field Crew Chief. As such, the Scout must show initiative and motivation while progressing through the program. This work is performed outdoors year-round in various weather conditions. Requires the ability to move in various standing and sitting positions and the ability to lift 30 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally (with assistance).
