The focus of this role is to work as a trusted partner and be responsible for developing, managing, and growing direct relationships with home builders, construction managers, purchasing teams, and field superintendents throughout the Greater DFW area. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with home builders, developers, purchasing managers, superintendents, and project managers
Serve as a trusted advisor to builders in both field and office environments
Be present on active job sites to support product selection, layout clarification, and issue resolution
Influence product specification early in the design and planning phase
Review and interpret builder floor plans, elevations, and schedules
Perform and/or validate window takeoffs, including:
Window types and series
Sizes and configurations
Egress requirements
Code and energy compliance considerations
Support projects ranging from single-family homes to townhomes and multi-unit developments
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate quoting, scheduling, and order execution
Achieve assigned sales, mix, and profitability targets
Identify and pursue new builder opportunities within the territory
Manage multiple active projects simultaneously from opportunity through completion
Prepare proposals, pricing, and contracts in coordination with internal stakeholders
Conduct builder meetings, presentations, follow-ups, and job reviews
Work closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, and Manufacturing
Provide field feedback to support product development, marketing programs, and service improvements
Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline, opportunities, and customer activity
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred
1-3 years of direct sales experience required
Building products, windows, or construction-related sales experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and floor plans
Experience performing or supporting material takeoffs is a strong plus
Comfortable working on active construction sites
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Consultative, solution-oriented sales mindset
Highly organized; able to manage multiple projects concurrently
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel)

About you and this role
Dow has an exciting opportunity for an Improvement Engineer at our site in Carrollton, KY!
The Improvement Engineer serves as a vital resource for Operations by applying technical and organizational skills to drive the plant level continuous improvement program targeted at delivering maximum value from the assets, while improving process safety and production efficiency.
Responsibilities
Learn process technology and develop continuous improvement skill set helping to establish credibility with the operations team.
Drive knowledge exchange with technology experts to increase awareness of potential improvement opportunities for the technology.
Partner with the experts to develop and implement a Plant Specific Technology Plan (PSTP) that delivers positive year-over-year ROC (return on capital) and non-capital continuous improvement while meeting the plant level EH&S improvement goals.
Champion process safety activities and acts as a resource for relevant process safety concerns. Partner with plant operation and maintenance personnel to identify and track performance indicators to be used in identification of technology gaps and continuous improvement opportunities.
Lead continuous improvement activities for the facility and may serve in specific Global Project Methodology (GPM) related roles of project manager or manufacturing representative.
Serve as the implementation arm of the technology center.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant military experience at or above a US E5 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant (PO2/Sgt) Military ranking.
1-2 years relevant experience preferred.

Change Management: Leading the prioritization and implementation of improvement opportunities. It requires partnering with leaders to collect ideas, define opportunities, and implement projects to meet global business goals.
Prioritization: Making decisions based on business priorities to ensure that time and resources are used effectively. It involves weighing factors like impact, productivity, and quality to establish priorities objectively.
Project Management: Ability to plan, organize, and manage resources to achieve project goals on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
