    The Customer Service Associate Representative position will, after an extensive training program, be responsible for a portfolio of customers where employee will become the prime contact of those customers. Employee will be responsible for effectively managing the incoming orders of assigned customers. The role will interact with multiple departments across the organization and will be responsible for taking on the challenges of balancing customer and business needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May include, but are not limited to, the following: * Serve as prime contact for order related activities. * Build and maintain business relationships with customers through multiple communication channels. * Work with associates within his/her department and across the organization to achieve optimal customer satisfaction. * Input new order requests and manage modifications and cancellations for both manual and electronic orders communications. * Coordinate with plants to support on-time order shipment and manage order issues to assure that they are clear for shipment. * Facilitate new business approvals and set up and maintain accurate customer address, contact information, and customer specific requirements. * Ensure appropriate delegation of authority is documented and followed and perform all duties in compliance with company policies and procedures. * Facilitate actions between multiple departments to meet customer specific needs. * Inform sales representatives of current customer activity and order statuses as appropriate. * Work in partnership with the credit department and plants to ensure orders are invoiced and processed in a timely manner. * Responsible for accurate customer address and contact information as well as keep customer specific requirements file updated. * Communicate proactively with customers on requirements, order status, forecast, open complaints, etc. to ensure customer satisfaction. * Manage customer invoice process, as needed. * Any additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned. * Comply with all Company policies and procedures. * Fully supports Company goals of continuous improvement and operational excellence at strategic and tactical levels including reviewing area of responsibility for improvement opportunities to initiate projects or communicate ideas to management as well as active participation on project teams. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years working experience * Strong interest and potential for growth and development * Must have a customer service-oriented mindset - friendly, accurate, empathetic, professional * Must have computer experience, such as with email and internet. The Process Technician is also required to operate a forklift and yard tractor to move materials within the plant. The Process Technician position supports a 24/7/365 production facility and must be able and willing to work rotating shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
