Maintain the accuracy of inventory information Create purchase requisitions in SAP as required to procure necessary raw materials, manufacturing supplies, and services. Prepares daily and periodic reports dealing with production, product inventories, material transfers, etc. Maintains a variety of files and performs general office duties, including ordering supplies and maintaining office equipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May include, but are not limited to, the following: Manage Master Data Create and maintain bills of material in SAP. Create and maintain master recipes in SAP. Revise standard production rates in SAP as necessary. Manage miscellaneous new formula set-up processes as requested by the manufacturing area. Manage Production Postings and Process Orders: * Post usages and activities, including correcting operator errors as necessary in SAP. Postproduction and reconcile production postings, including correcting operator errors in SAP. Adjust production for the process order Adjust usage for process orders as necessary. Manage Inventory * Monitor and reconcile SAP inventories on an ongoing basis. Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies. Reconcile SAP inventory based on monthly physical inventories. Maintain inventory reconciliation records. Coordinate Purchases and Receipts: * Manage raw material or manufacturing supply inventories as appropriate for your manufacturing area. Create (or change) purchase requisitions in SAP. Troubleshoot purchase orders in SAP. Perform appropriate material movement in SAP for purchased materials. Management of Shipments Verify shipments in SAP as assigned. Perform the goods issue step for shipments. Enter weight and create packing lists for shipments and troubleshoot shipment data. Prepare and ship customer samples as requested. Routine Reports Prepare daily and periodic reports and records in an accurate and timely manner using various computer systems and databases. Reconcile reports as needed. Assist supervision by acquiring, tabulating, or checking special data or information as directed. Other Provide back-up relief to Production Support personnel. Demonstrate proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel. Be able to use Microsoft Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint as needed to perform requested job duties. * Communicate effectively to perform the essential functions of the job. Follow written and/or verbal instructions. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or the equivalent. Some college preferred. Computer and office equipment experience. A minimum of 8 years of clerical experience working with management or accounting personnel. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This job is performed mainly in an office setting. Physical presence and predictable attendance is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee will primarily sit and use a computer for most of their day. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific visual abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
