What Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health Accounting establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, completes technical research, safeguards the organization's assets and ensures accuracy of accounting and financial records in accordance with accounting standards. The Director of Accounting is a key leader in the organization responsible for managing accounting and financial reporting processes across a variety of businesses within our Pharmaceutical and Specialty Solutions segment (largest vertical at Cardinal Health).
