The Junior Business Data Analyst performs various financial, operational, and HR data analysis functions, including assistance with budgeting, financial reporting, and dashboard development. This position supports decision-making across the organization by providing accurate and actionable analysis to management and executive leadership. This position will be based in our Tucson, Arizona office. What will I be doing? Gather, organize, interpret, and analyze financial, HR, business development, and operational data. Begin to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities based on data analysis. Create dashboards and build custom reports using Excel and ERP systems. Assist with financial reports and variance analysis, supporting accrual and cash basis reporting. Assist with tasks related to the corporate budgeting process and monitor performance against plan. Support HR data gathering and reporting needs. Support compliance with accounting regulations and internal standards. Document all analysis with accuracy and clarity for internal and external stakeholders. What qualifications are required for this role? Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or similar field required. Experience with corporate budgeting, financial reporting, and ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint or similar) preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Familiarity with business and accounting principles. Familiarity with FAR regulations and financial reporting standards. The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $71,000 annually. Seven (7) years of consulting experience in one or more of the following air quality areas required: air quality permitting, dispersion modeling, emission inventories, air quality construction and operating permits; and/or compliance reporting. Experience with all phases of project development including proposal writing, initial constraints analysis, and permitting, as well as experience managing budgets, invoicing, maintaining project schedules, and supporting quality assurance/quality control efforts. Your role as a Cultural Resources Intern will be assisting with cultural resources and archaeology data entry, artifact analyses, reporting, and fieldwork during the summer field season. You should be able to work outside during fieldwork sessions that generally last for a week or more. This internship will occur during summer 2026 (early June to Mid August - 10 weeks).
