Responsibilities Positive attitude and willingness to learn Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback Coach and teach the skills of the trade Coordinate progress reports with General Contractor/Owner/PM on schedule and deadlines Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors when under our scope or working alongside Monitor, log and report on project progress Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs Implement safety and quality guidelines Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance Keep track of materials and orders arriving at the site Resolve on-site issues and emergencies Set performance goals and deadlines Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly Manage multiple projects and crews Experience and proficiency in all aspects of fence and netting Evaluation with Foreman (60-Day and additional evaluations) Initiate paperwork for promotions Corrective action forms and progress CDL Class A Qualifications High school or equivalent is required Three years of experience in fence construction US work authorization is required Valid driver's license is required, reliable transportation, a CDL Class A Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting Willing to work M-F with weekends, 8-12-hour shifts, and overtime when?needed Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools Ability to operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc. OSHA 30 Benefits Empire pays for employee hotels when traveling as well as $60/day per diem on top of your salary. 401k, health, life, vision and dental insurance, PTO Professional development assistance Company vehicle
