We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician who enjoys the art of triage and the variety that emergency medicine brings. Our ideal candidate is already comfortable with restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, basic medical math, anesthesia induction and recovery. Experience with CPR is a plus but not required. The Superintendent is responsible for everything that happens day-to-day on the project site, and for the overall success of the field teams including all subcontractors. You work collaboratively with Project Managers, Designers and Architects as a team of peers whose goal and intent is to deliver the highest quality project outcome.
Job Duties:
Ensure that the day-to-day coordination of subcontractors on the jobsite results in high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule and budget
Execute work procedures, interpret specifications and drawings, and coordinate various phases of construction to prevent delays and provide assistance with client demands.
Monitors field work to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, procedures, specifications and codes. Must be able to create and maintain a safety-first environment.
Maintains a thorough understanding of contract documents to be able to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems before they arise.
Responsible for the overall coordination and management of the jobsite.
Develops detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans, and status reports including developing and implementing three-week look aheads to ensure required dates are met. Familiarity with basic computer software for scheduling is important.
Participate in meetings with the owner and architect and facilitate subcontractor meetings on a weekly basis.
Communicate schedule updates and changes to the Project Team.
Perform hands-on labor tasks as needed, including but not limited to: Pick-up and delivery of materials; operate equipment, trucks, and tools..
Must be able perform other related duties as assigned.
Will be working near moving equipment, machinery, and power tools. Must be able to operate both hand and power tools, including saws, drills, hammers, etc.
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 100 pounds on a frequent basis.
Willingness and ability to perform carpentry work is desirable.
Experience working on high-end residential projects and high-end commercial projects is desirable.
