POSITION PURPOSE
The General Laborer is responsible for performing non-technical maintenance and servicing on corporation vehicles, as well as general custodial duties on vehicles, in the shop, and around building grounds.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role, team members must be able to perform the functions listed below satisfactorily. The company will provide reasonable accommodation to enable team members with disabilities to perform these functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform general custodial tasks in designated work areas, including trash removal, sweeping, and mopping.
Operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, mops, small hand and power tools, and buffer/scrubbers.
Move furniture, file cabinets, desks, etc., as required.
Set up furniture, stages, mats, etc., for special events.
Clean and disinfect items and areas using basic household chemicals (e.g., bleach, disinfectant spray, dish soap).
