Production: Verify job specifications prior to production. Inspect print and cut quality throughout runs. Feed cartons into machinery and restart equipment as needed. Perform basic machine operation and maintenance, including knowledge of the Leary System. Demonstrate basic palletizing and packing knowledge for all jobs. Assist operators with packing station setup, including tape machines and ink jet printers. Assist with make-ready activities and locating corrugated cases when applicable. Perform rework duties as required. Ensure product safety and product quality and report any issues to Senior Management or the Quality Manager.
Maintenance: Assist with machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.
Housekeeping: Assist with housekeeping of assigned machinery and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
Machinery: Assist operators and operator trainees with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery issues.
Additional responsibility: Serve as backup to the Production Department Manager when required.

**The Job You Will Perform:**
+ Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and installing plant mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for all plant equipment. Including machinery maintenance, lubrication, PM's, trouble shooting, repairing, upgrading, welding, fabricating, and possible installations.
+ Responsible for preventative maintenance on equipment, such as any servicing of conveyors, presses, stackers, etc.
+ Be able to read and understand mechanical prints, AC/DC motors, pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams.
+ Troubleshoot, repair and install mechanical components, AC/DC motors, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, bearings, and power transmission.
+ Perform fabrication of equipment (welding both arc and gas) to desired needs. Be able to make adjustments on equipment to improve productivity. Be able to identify and locate unusual sounds that indicate potential trouble. Be able to dismantle equipment to gain access to defective parts.
+ Drill presses, lathe, welding, gas, arc, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyor systems, lubrication/preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
**The Skills You Will Bring:**
+ 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
+ Must have working knowledge of various types of measurement equipment (dial calipers, heat sensing guns, etc.).
+ Able to examine and determine to what degree parts have worn, and repair or replace parts as needed.
+ Should be able to operate metal, woodworking, and hand tools to make and repair parts. This will all be done in a safe manner.
+ Operate all types of hand tools (i.e. drill press, grinder, wire brush, acetylene torch, etc.) normally found in a Maintenance shop.
+ Must possess excellent attendance and safety record with a demonstrated ability to follow directions.
+ Requires the ability to work in a team environment as well as the ability to work additional and flexible hours including weekends as needed.
+ Must be willing and able to work all shifts depending on business needs.
+ Individuals need excellent teamwork, cooperation, and problem-solving skills. Must be dedicated, self-motivated, and self-starter, able to work independently.
+ Flexibility, a positive attitude, and a commitment to working safely is required.
+ Employee will need computer skills to work in SAP to acquire notifications, work orders, requisition parts for work orders, and enter their time against these work orders. Will attend all meetings, complete training as required, and be safety conscious at all times to help promote a safe working environment.
+ Must have basic tools.
+ Successful candidates must pass standardized International Paper pre-employment testing in place for Maintenance positions.

Responsibilities
Leads planning and execution of meetings.
Manages event budget - develops forecast, updates in real time, and finalize post event.
Manage event reconciliation post-event - identify and validate all charges from venue and vendors, breakdown costs per person for purposes of Sunshine reporting, and utilize appropriate systems to report costs.
Leads onsite meeting logistics including vetting and choosing venues and outside vendors to coordinate meeting needs, such as audio visual, food & beverage, and other onsite logistics.
