General Responsibilities: Follow all Safety rules and help watch others in area. Inspect product as it travels pad conveyor table removing any defective product. Set up Gevas machine to package product to specification. Transfer finished product from conveyor table to either Gevas mini-bagger or corrugated boxes. Assure all pads meet quality requirements. Responsible for following all food safety policies and procedures Adjust the stacker area as needed to assure centered pads. Help keep a watch over raw materials in process to assure continuous operations and notifying operator or assistant operator before machine is shut down. Job Description:You will work in a production environment, engage in continuous production activity, must meet requirements within time constraints and you will be held accountable for the quality of your work. Tasks require a mechanical assembly aptitude, an above average degree of eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and the use of both hands and arms on a repetitive basis for a full range of motion. This position requires frequent climbing, reaching and pulling.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Packers will pull out shaft that product was rolled up on and place new cores on that shaft. Packers will lift roll(s) and place them on a packing table, were a bag is placed over the finished product. Once wrapped with bag and tape, Packer will pick up wrapped product and place it on a pallet. To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following: Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical assembly operations preferred Demonstrate the skills to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools. Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures and read assembly prints. Assembly Experience Preferred.MAJOR PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing: Most tasks are performed in a standing position with frequent walking. Lifting: Frequent lifting of items ranging in weight from 20 lbs. to 75 lbs. Crain Hoists are available. Walking: Frequent walking of short distances (approx. 200 feet or less). Carrying: Frequent carrying of items ranging in weight from 20 lbs. to 75 lbs. Crain Hoists are available. Bending: Frequent bending and crouching required to complete assembly tasks. Ability to pack on any Thermoforming line generally working independently. Able to communicate quality issues, proper documentation, packaging requirements and machine malfunctions. Performs work under machine operator with final approval by the shift supervisor ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To pack on all thermoforming machines including auto packer Ensure product meets quality standards Ensure correct quantity is packed Confirm packaging material matches quality docket requirements Feed sheet through trim press as required Help remove scrap from around former to disposal buggy Clear packing table from end of roll/start of new roll debris to get count mark for new roll Perform simple machine procedures while operator away from area Break line (cut the sheet) at un-winder if needed Understand the basic operation of the machine Understand the safety features of the machine including E-stops and when to use them Well rounded knowledge of quality of all products Perform Grinding duties to ensure scrap material is properly recycled Make and stage "boxes" for packing product throughout shift cons is tent with demands. Communicate equipment or mate rial issues that arises on the shift to Packer and Supervisor. Perform all end of shift duties, IE. Sweeping, cleaning packing table, assisting co-worker's with this task, grinding.

General Responsibilities: Follow all Safety rules and help watch others in area. Inspect product as it travels pad conveyor table removing any defective product. Set up Gevas machine in package product to specification. Transfer finished product from conveyor table to either Gevas mini-bagger or corrugated boxes. Assure all pads meet quality requirements. Responsible for following all food safety policies and procedures. Adjust the stacker area as needed to assure centered pads. Help keep a watch over raw materials in process to assure continuous operations and notifying operator or assistant operator before machine is shut down. Production Packers / Operators are responsible for assembling and packing pails or lids, including correctly installing handles or triggers in a timely manner. Attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential to meet our customers' standards. This role requires flexibility, the ability to multitask, and the capacity to follow both written and verbal instructions. We are hiring for multiple shifts at the plant including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Key Responsibilities: Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Install triggers, gaskets, tampers, vent plugs, metal/plastic spouts, and metal/plastic handles manually or with installer devices. Apply silicone to lids using a brush when required. Identify and report any product that does not meet quality standards before packing. Use a tape gun as needed to assemble boxes for lids. Operate the Child Warning Stamper to apply labels to pails. Accurately complete all required production and reject paperwork for your shift. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area. Perform other duties as assigned.
