Program Details

* You must work a minimum of 32 hours per week. This includes practical hours, plus theory hours at the Tech College of your choice, Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton or Moraine Park Technical College, West Bend.
* You must have reliable transportation.
REQUIREMENTS
* You will need to complete a two week unpaid bootcamp to be eligible to apply for your Cosmetology Apprentice license through the state of Wisconsin.
* All other work time is paid; including any additional training time!
As a Cosmetology Apprentice, you will perform skills in the salon that you have you have been approved to perform by your apprentice instructor.

De-escalate crisis situations using non-restrictive techniques
Support clients in group living, home, or community settings
Maintain confidential records and track client progress
Facilitate recovery-focused group activities and curriculum
Transport clients to appointments and community services
Assist with medication administration and basic healthcare needs
Promote independence through skill-building and resource connection
Participate in staff meetings, training, and community advocacy
Support clients during recreational and educational activities
Uphold healthy boundaries and safety-focused decision-making

We provide therapeutic care for children with emotional and behavioral challenges in a nurturing, home-like environment. Our mission is to teach essential life skills, foster healthy social development, and support positive behavioral growth.

š Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage with 6-7 children in a structured, supportive setting
Promote daily living skills, appropriate behavior, and social development
Prepare meals, maintain a clean and safe environment, and perform minor household maintenance
Lead and support behavioral programming tailored to individual needs
Accurately document observations and update records
Assist with academic programming and fulfill teacher's aide licensing requirements
Participate in recreational and sports activities
Provide emergency shift coverage as needed
š Schedule Options
Full-Time:
Varied shifts including mornings (7am-3pm), evenings (3pm-11pm), and 2-4 overnight shifts (11pm-7am) per month
Includes weekends and holidays, with one weekend off per schedule period
Part-Time:
Three 8-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift
Rotating shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am
