The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading, developing, managing and executing all aspects for maintenance with suppliers, local and corporate -wide employees and the manufacturing staff. Maintenance Supervisor (Ammonia Refrigeration) Type: Salary Reports to: Maintenance Manager Education: GED (Min.) (required);Associates degree (preferred / not required) Refrigeration coursework / certification / formal training (preferred) Experience: Min. of 3 years work experience in refrigeration equipment & systems OR related field Min. 2 years' maintenance leadership experience / training (required) General: The ammonia refrigeration maintenance supervisor directs, oversees, and drives the day-to-day repairs, troubleshooting, and PM activities of the plant's ammonia refrigeration system. This working supervisor oversees and actively participates in the work of 10-12 ammonia refrigeration techs. (Direct reports). The role partners with process maintenance, production, & quality to ensure 24/7 ammonia refrigeration systems meet the needs of site operations. The position reports to the Maintenance Manager and primarily works M-F schedule, with flexibility to cover early/ late shift, short-notice overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed Specific Duties / Responsibilities: Supervise and oversee daily ammonia refrigeration operations. Ensure compliance with state and federal refrigeration regulations and codes. Promote the team's safety-first mindset and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Apply refrigeration knowledge to install & start-up refrigeration equipment per specifications.
