Business Process Improvement * Define and implement business management processes for large-scale programs. * Mentor Program Managers and Analysts in program financial control, earned value management, and reporting best practices. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field. * 8+ years of experience in program finance, business management, or cost control within the aerospace or defense industry. * Strong understanding of earned value management principles (EVMS) and baseline management. * Proven ability to work cross-functionally with PMO, Finance, Contracts, and Engineering teams. * Strong analytical and communication skills; able to present data to leadership and customers. * Proficiency with MS Office Suite and familiarity with scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera. Responsible for direct supervision of the Lead Technicians, Aircraft, Structures and Avionic Technicians, Outside Services personnel with authority to guide and advise technical activity in accordance with Repair Station Manual and FAA regulations. Provide leadership and direction, coach and mentor direct reports and their subordinates to consistently deliver excellence in their undertaking as individuals and team players, ensuring high quality workmanship and on-time re-delivery of aircraft. Secure commitment and accountability at all levels in execution of both work and accurate supporting documentation. In collaboration with Production Planning & Control, Quality Assurance & Safety, Customer and Leads, establish project plan for each aircraft to be serviced in accordance with the Workscope and respective timeline. Becomes an expert and trusted resource to our clients at the project level Prepares project proposals for Market Leader or Director final approval As a project leader within their market, the Project Manager becomes a recognized expert to their clients Communication Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence within their project team Communicate with their team members and clients in an exceptional manner including the issuance of project status letters Perform functions such as reviewing and writing reports, workload projections and other activities that ensure the team knows where to focus their efforts Accuracy Execute production of project requirements to ensure contractual obligations are met Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities Direct, review, and approve project design and changes Communicate and adhere to all established company standards while executing work Quality review project deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and to avoid errors and omissions Transparency Review invoice drafts and markup to ensure billing matches effort of team Provide updated billing projections monthly to accurately illustrate upcoming Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in engineering Six or more years of experience post graduation Professional Engineer (PE) license required Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
