Primary Duties & Responsibilities Welding; GTAW, GMAW, and SMAW Weld pipe ranging from 2 to 6 inches Weld pipe runs on critical components including compressors, vessels, evaporators, separators, condensers, and various pieces of prefab. Plan layout, install, maintain and repair all types of pipe fittings and fixtures according to blueprints. Cutting, beveling, and fitting pipe. Significant pipe fitting required and expected in this role. Perform load rigging, torch cutting, and leveling with the use of measurement tools. Utilize power tools for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal components. Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project execution. Other duties as needed on the job site Requirements Must be able to pass a 6G weld test prior to employment. Thickness must be over 0.75”. 2 yrs. Experience with either high pressure pipe, steam line or gas line, or process pipe welding or other relevant pipe work.
