CMHA is looking to hire a Full-time Program Coordinator II for our Community Clinical programs. This position will be located at 255 Bank St. Waterbury CT 06702. Monday - Friday, 8:30AM-4:30PM.
Compensation Range: The annual salary range for this position starts at $74,000

Position Summary: The Program Coordinator II will oversee all program functions/operations in accordance with policies, procedures internal processes, and external regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, DPH, Joint Commission, DMHAS, DCF, SAMHSA and Grant/Payer Sources. Ensures appropriate staffing pattern to meet consumer and/or program needs. Effectively provides administrative, clinical and programmatic supervision to staff to maximize performance and productivity, as well as maintain adherence to fidelity requirements. Monitors departmental budget and makes recommendations for future planning and growth. Essential Responsibilities:
Assesses all referrals to the program for clinical appropriateness and risk by reviewing all referral information and delegating review and care responsibility to appropriate staff.
Ensures appropriate staffing to meet client and program needs.
Conducts and documents staff meetings weekly to ensure timely and accurate communications related to client care, and facility cleanliness and safety.
Provides and documents individual and/or group supervision to staff including routine performance assessments and corrective action processes in accordance with CMHA Policies and Procedures.
Reviews and develops program effectiveness and best practices annually by conducting and documenting audits and outcome measures for reporting to internal departments and external licensing/regulatory/funding bodies.
Participates, as a CMHA representative, in all necessary internal and external meetings that pertain to clinical care, compliance, and client activity.
Assigns work, providing directions on how to do the work, and communicating a clear understanding of job responsibilities, task objectives, priorities, deadlines and performance expectations.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to be available for direct staff when they are working.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Valid DMV License and personal vehicle.
Master's degree in behavioral health (psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, alcohol and drug counseling).
Must have State of Connecticut license in related discipline (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PhD, PsyD).
Certified in BMT, First Aid, and CPR.
Beginner to intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook.
Successful experience in the provision of direct clinical care of clients with severe/prolonged mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders or equivalent including diagnosing, treatment planning and evidence based practices, preferably a minimum of 1 year.
Successful experience in a management/supervisory role of direct care providers to clients with severe/prolonged mental illness or equivalent, preferably a minimum of 2 years.

Position Summary:

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required. Master's Degree in Accounting or MBA strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
CT Driver's License
Certified Public Accounting Credential (CPA) strongly preferred.
Minimum of 12 years total with 8 years of management and supervisory experience in financial environment inclusive of reporting and analysis, credit, payroll and other accounting/ financial responsibilities.
Must include a minimum of 6 years of management of a financial unit inclusive of staff, budget and performance management. Not-for-profit experience is required. Health care experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrates Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience/knowledge in utilizing financial management/billing software systems and linked clinical business applications, including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as EPIC. Experience in general ledger business system such as Abila. Experience in supervising facilities management or equivalent experience and training to meet the demands of the position.

Supports with light meal preparation and running errands

Position Summary: The Referral Engagement Specialist responsible for processing referrals to CMHA services. CMHA is looking to hire a Clinician II for our Adult Outpatient Program. This position will be located at 233 Main St. New Britain, CT 06051. Monday - Friday, 9:00AM-5:30PM. Flexible work arrangements vary by program.
Compensation Range: The annual salary range for this position starts at $68,500. The Clinician II is eligible for a sign-on incentive of $7,000 which will be paid $3,500 after 6 months and $3,500 after 1 year of employment.
Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience, education, and skills, but also by maintaining internal pay equity. Position Summary: The Clinician II serves as an active part of a multidisciplinary team that provides assessment and therapeutic services to adults, children and/or adolescents who present with a wide range of significant behavioral health needs. Treatment is aimed at assisting individuals and/or families by helping them develop the skills necessary to improve their quality of life. Essential Responsibilities:
Maintains all training and certifications as required by program model.
Completes documentation within designated timeframes as established by CMHA and external regulatory agencies.
Performs comprehensive intake assessment that results in diagnosis and recommendations for psychiatric and substance abuse treatment for adults and/or children.
Completes assessment tools, integrates pertinent information to establish diagnosis, and analyzes data to create clinical formulation within designated timeframe.
Performs individual, family and/or group treatment utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate positive strength‐based change.
Develops achievable goals with client, with measurable and behavioral objectives within designated timeframes. Monitors treatment progress and provide updates within identified timeframes and as clinically indicated.
Collaborates with other providers by providing all pertinent clinical information in a timely manner.
Responds to crisis situations and triages appropriately, communicating clearly with internal and external providers/stakeholders to meet presenting client needs.
Provides referrals and linkage to community and internal resources as necessary to address client need.
Completes documentation within designated timeframes as established by CMHA and external regulatory agencies.
Secures reimbursement for services rendered by submitting accurate documentation in a timely manner.
Adheres to all state, federal, Joint Commission and other oversight regulations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have a Connecticut license as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC as appropriate for services.
Will be certified in MANDT, first aid, and CPR
Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish/English)
Valid Connecticut Driver's License

Position Summary: The Respite Recovery Specialist develops and monitors treatment plans with a caseload of adult residential clients toward the goal of eventual independent living. Coordinates care with the client throughout the CMHA system of services. Supervises client activity and participation in the residential program while ensuring client safety, comfort and satisfaction. Essential Responsibilities:
Provides direct care to clients by conducting individualized and group education, skill building, recreation and household maintenance activities and/or monitoring environment with clients for cleanliness, safety and repairs.
Develops and reviews individualized treatment plans with clients to identify goals and progress throughout the client's stay by meeting with each client on the caseload at least once each week.
Maintains client medical records by documenting all client activity in the form of Progress Notes and Treatment Plans in accordance with agency Policy and Procedure. Completes all additional program required documentation, including change of shift report in compliance with CMHA Policies and Procedures.
Supervises and documents the self‐administration of medication to program clients as scheduled in an accurate, professional way by adhering to program policy and procedure and training.
Communicates and/or advocates with other internal and external providers to ensure consistency of and accessibility to requested/needed services. May provide transportation as needed.
Answers crisis hotline calls and conduct thorough assessments to determine the urgency and severity of the situation.
Provides immediate emotional support and intervention, offering coping strategies and de-escalation techniques as needed.
Uses crisis intervention protocols to prioritize and triage cases based on risk levels (e.g., suicide, substance abuse, violence, etc.).
Responds to requests for in-person assessments in community settings such as homes, shelters, or healthcare facilities.
Conducts face-to-face evaluations of individuals in crisis, including mental health assessments, risk evaluations, and safety planning.
Identifies immediate needs, including medical care, mental health services, and emergency shelter, and assist clients in accessing those services.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a mental health related field preferred or equivalent experience
Must have valid driver's license
Will become certified in MANDT, First Aid, and CPR.

Preferred Qualifications:
