Position Description
Our Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly cafes which feature baked breads and pastries. We serve made-to-order soups, salads and sandwiches as well as specialty espresso beverages.
No Fryers and No Late Nights. We're known for our artisan breads, quality soups, salads and sandwiches which results in a grease and alcohol-free environment for our associates. As a manager, this means no late nights, but we do hope you're a morning person.

Physical Standards:
+ Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to ten (10) hours in length.
+ Must have the ability to safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to 50 pounds in weight.
+ Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
+ Must possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.

Compensation Data

Job Responsibilities
Adhere to and maintain preparation and production guidelines according to Aramark standards by reviewing and approving production and temperature logs.
Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
Ensure timely, efficient meal service and all Aramark guidelines are being met.
Participate in preparation and serving of meals
Prints and distribute recipes.
Direct inmates in the use of Aramark recipes and train on proper cooking procedures.
Ensure proper portions and any special dietary requirements are fulfilled.
Obtain accurate daily population counts and review with staff.
Adhere to security policies and procedures. Ensure storage areas are locked at all times.
Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are returned to their designated secure area. Ensure all keys are returned and secured.
Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and sanitation schedules while ensuring that cooks, inmates and/or food service workers adhere to the assigned schedule.
Assist in conducting inventory, properly receiving, and storing food and food related items. Requisition orders as needed for approval.
Participates in the preparation/5 P's (Participation, Pulls, Production, Portion Control, and Postproduction), storage and assembly of meals and food items.
Follows the Company's Standard of Operation for food handling and storage. Follows HACCP policies and procedures regarding proper food handling procedures.

Qualifications
Must be over 18 years of age
Minimum of one (1) year of food prep or related work preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Previous experience interacting with inmates a plus
Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members to attain quality and quantity of food production in a correctional work environment
Must be able to obtain a food safety certification
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to exercise good judgment and tact
Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and policies
Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The Principal is responsible for the direction of all personnel who perform their respective functions within the province of the building. They are directly responsible to the Superintendent of Schools and are obligated to keep the Superintendent informed of all matters deemed pertinent and relative to the operation of the school unit. The Principal also performs a staff function serving in an advisory capacity to the Superintendent of Schools for all personnel.
1. General Responsibility and Authority Delegated by the Superintendent:
Coordinate and Supervise on a daily operational basis:
Curriculum - 6-8 , lead and suggest changes and improvements, scheduling, supplies, and materials.
Instructional staff, supervision and evaluation, in-service.
Student Discipline - atmosphere conducive to a good learning environment.
Direct Supervision of the AP/AD with the Extracurricular Activities - program, staff and athletic director supervision and evaluation. Program funds coordination. Supervision of activities. Work as a liaison for activities and athletics.
Transportation - coordination for activities, bus loading supervision, route discipline.
Food Service - Lunchroom supervision.
Budget - Recommendations for line items. Supervise building expenditures.
Coordinate the Dean and AP to follow Safety - Regularly inspect buildings. Conduct fire and tornado drills.
2. Other Specific Responsibilities - Operational:
Students:
Student body registration for classes and fees.
Student body program reports to parents, public and board.
Student body records system - tests, attendance, programs, permanent records.
