The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will be responsible for learning and supporting ME activities related to dispositioning material discrepancy reports, work instruction updates, procedure/drawing updates, tooling/fixture design and organization (physical and database), data collection and analysis, and other Engineering activities that support Operations.
Responsibilities:
* Disposition parts written up on material discrepancy reports. Creates reports identifying MRB trends and opportunities for process improvements.
* Identifies and updates drawings / procedures / work instructions to clarify and standardize manufacturing processes.
* Works with production cells and Engineering to assess needs for safety, 5S, and process improvements related to process development and tooling.
* Collect and analyze data to aid in focused problem solving.
* Provides support to Engineering team to resolve TIB issues and anything impacting daily engineering needs.
Qualifications:
* GED or HS diploma
* 2+ years of related experience.
* Blueprint reading and Component Maintenance Manual familiarization.
* Demonstrated active participation in team meetings, project teams, improvement efforts.
* Broad process experience including inspection, machining, flow test desired.
* Use of hand inspection tools.
* Use of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Level 1 Inspector / Repairman preferred.
* Interest in learning and growing completing technical degree and growing into an Engineer role.

Summary:
The primary role of the Production Team Member is to manufacture quality products in a safe manner.
The operator will be responsible for inserting various components into molds, removing the finished products from the molds, cleaning the molds, inspect/repair the finished goods as necessary prior to shipment of the products to the customer. * Experience reading schedules (e.g., products being produced, understanding production requirements, production planning, managing changeovers, etc.)
* Experience with computers in a manufacturing setting (e.g., electronic settings, line speed, pressures, basic troubleshooting, solving for faults/alarms and resetting equipment, etc.)
* Experience with sanitization (e.g., basic procedures/steps, GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES in a food plant, identifying risks)
* Experience with minor mechanical repairs (e.g., jams, using tools, making basic adjustments to equipment, etc.)
* Experience with preventative maintenance (e.g., inspecting and maintaining equipment, detecting and correcting issues before they occur, etc.)
