We're seeking a strategic leader to drive demand and supply planning excellence. This role will lead a team of planners, optimize inventory, and ensure cross‑functional alignment to meet customer service and financial goals.
What you'll do:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of demand & supply planners
Build accurate demand forecasts and align supply plans

Job Description
Emseal, A Sika Company, is a manufacturer of premium sealants and expansion joint systems for the commercial construction industry and many specialty market applications.
The Buyer is responsible for reliable and prompt product procurement of both semi-finished and raw materials into our Westborough facility. This position will manage the flow of stock, place purchase orders as well as maintain effective communication of inventory between operations and our sales team. This position also participates in inventory management through monthly cycle counts. This position reports to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitor material and parts demand, identifying trends
Populate schedule with vendor ship dates
Vendor Relations; place purchase orders, cost negotiations and update delivery status
Enter and manage orders for certain Semi-Finished items
Assist in monthly cycle counts and inventory management

Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Sourcing Director to join our dynamic, fast-paced team.As Director, you will play a critical role in leading and executing new product launches, post development optimization, and supplier strategies across e.l.f. beauty's multi-brand portfolio. You will drive supplier strategy, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and innovation across global categories This role will build strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders across various functions and global regions. Success requires someone who can challenge the status quo, push partners to operate at our speed, and build systems that scale as we expand into new categories and geographies.Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Translate the overall vision into actionable team goals, fostering a high-performing environment and developing team members with varying levels of experience. Identify long-term challenges and opportunities for e.l.f. beauty globally, developing and advocating for sourcing strategies that create a sustainable competitive edge.
Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key strategic suppliers in the western hemisphere, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic discussions and complex negotiations. Secure favorable contractual agreements encompassing commercial terms, intellectual property, supply security, and business continuity plans.
Innovation & Collaboration: Drive innovation by partnering with Asia Sourcing, R&D, Product Development, and Marketing strategy on internally vs., externally-led development.
Global Alignment: Build a strong strategic network across the brands to ensure e.l.f. beauty has robust and diverse contract manufacturing and packaging supplier network to meet the diverse needs of each brand.
Team Development & Performance: Manage and develop a team of diverse professionals, providing constructive feedback and fostering growth and autonomy.
What You'll Own
Develop and execute sourcing strategies across packaging, finished goods, and new categories as we grow.
Build, negotiate, and manage a diversified, resilient global supplier network.
Identify and unlock cost-savings opportunities without compromising quality, speed, or brand experience.
Partner closely with Product Development, R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, and Operations to align supplier capabilities with innovation pipelines.
Create a structure that works across brands, and still allows for flexibility and creativity where appropriate
Lead risk assessment and mitigation plans for supply continuity and geopolitical exposure.
Develop and mentor a small but high-impact sourcing team.
Drive contract strategy, including MSAs, pricing agreements, and long-term partnerships.
Influence enterprise planning by bringing visibility into market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier innovation.
Requirements
BA or BS required
8-10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Supplier Management, or Procurement, with 3-5+ years in sourcing is required, ideally within the beauty industry
Strong leadership and people management with a track record of building teams.
Rich experience working with contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers, with a focus on partnership and relationship building
High degree of financial and analytical aptitude a must, with a strong attention to detail
Excellent influence and negotiating skills
Able to work in fast-paced environments and prioritize competing demands
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on cross-functional problem solving
Must be team-oriented, responsive, comfortable collaborating and decision making across internal and external teams globally
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to handle various situations, multiple priorities, changing business needs
Must have a mindset towards continuous improvement across new product development processes and supplier management

Position Summary
The Director of Global Supply Chain is responsible for developing and executing the company's global supply chain strategy to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and resilience across sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. This leader will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations supporting multiple manufacturing sites and international markets, driving strategic initiatives that align with business goals and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy that optimizes cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability across all regions.
Global Operations Management:
Oversee international sourcing, supplier relationships, logistics, and inventory management for manufacturing facilities and distribution centers.
Supplier & Vendor Management:
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with global suppliers, negotiating contracts and driving supplier performance improvement.
Process Optimization:
Implement best-in-class systems, tools, and processes to improve visibility, traceability, and agility across the supply chain.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate global supply chain risks, including geopolitical, environmental, and logistical challenges.
Sustainability & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with trade regulations, ethical sourcing policies, and environmental standards.
Leadership & Development:
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing global supply chain team across multiple regions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or Master's preferred).
10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record in managing complex, global supply networks.
Deep understanding of ERP/MRP (JDE preferred) systems, demand planning tools, and global logistics.
Experience in Supply Chain in India and UK is a plus
Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial acumen.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM, PMP) are a plus.
