Properly bands and shrink wraps pallets and attaches shipping labels. + Assembles and fills boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped. + Prepares detailed and accurate invoices to accompany shipments and ensures all items are packaged and shipped to company standards. + Tracks inventory and reports any shortages to sales team. + Works with other shipping clerks to see that all invoices are handled promptly and goods are shipped and stored properly. **Nature and Scope** + Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor. + Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment.
