Reporting to the Cycle Count Supervisor the Cycle Counter is involved in performing daily scheduled inventory counts and accessing warehouse racking to physically count individual items while verifying the accuracy of inventory records and material descriptions against SKID labels. What a typical day looks like: * Perform daily scheduled inventory counts * Verify the accuracy of inventory records and ensure that all materials description match with the description of SKID label. * Access warehouse racking to physically count individual items * Complete daily reports to include new locations and/or relocation of materials * Assist with special projects in Warehouse and plant * Working on their Computer systems/ data entry will be using their current ERP system but will eventually transfer to SAP so need to be attentive to detail and familiar with using a WMS or similar computer system to track inventory shipping and receiving. * Will be processing orders for shipment, and receiving in raw materials to stock within the warehouse so has to have knowledge of related paperwork * Will be operating a sit down forklift and must be able to maneuver it safely to move product * All candidates should be flexible to all general labor duties as assigned including stocking, inventory, or unwrapping raw materials * Follow all safety rules and regulations while operating warehouse equipment and maintaining a clean work area. This position uses computers extensively as part of their regular job duties so a strong proficiency with technology is critical. Backup Inventory Clerk Duties: Reporting and researching pending put away Searching for product Assisting with lost inventory Backup Cycle Counter Duties Counting warehouse wall to wall at least once Counting all A levels within first two weeks fo the month, leveling the A level, writing on product from locations, moving incorrectly placed pallets and reconciling miscellaneous pallets or product as you go. Assist with missing or lost product Assisting with blinding off damaged product to damaged locations Assist with preparing landfill trucks and compost, product destruction via compactor, reconciling product and pallets loaded. At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine. Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines. Environment Most of the time will be driving PIT including stand-up forklifts and reach trucks for extended times in damp and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. (Up to 12 hours) You will be provided a freezer suit, hearing protection, gloves, and headwear as part of your personal protective equipment (PPE). Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles.
