Essential Functions
Tolerance to work in extreme weather and environmental conditions - temperature ranges from below freezing to over 110 degrees, rain and snow, wind, dust and mud.
Ability to lift up to 65 pounds by hand, and work with others and/or machines to lift heavier objects.
Back, leg, arm and shoulder strength required to clean wire, heavy cable, dirt and other debris while working in awkward positions from operational components of the equipment on a daily basis. Requires use of various hand tools including shovels, picks, etc.
Capacity to operate the equipment for up to 3 hours at a time, and between 4 and 11 1/2 hours in a workday.
Mobility to repeatedly access and egress the heavy equipment on all types of flat and sloped terrain, as well as bend, twist and extend the body during equipment operation to observe the operation of the machine and its immediate surrounds.
Strength and coordination in the feet, legs, hands and arms to operate the controls while being jarred and jostled in the cab of the equipment and experiencing sudden vertical changes in position.
Ability to safely climb on and off of heavy equipment in order to operate, clean and inspect.

(ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health treatment and support agency providing a trauma informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co occurring mental health disorder services throughout Southern Oregon.We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant whose work will directly support both client care and staff success by ensuring our programs have the supplies, tools, and resources they need to operate smoothly and consistently. Key ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:•Source and manage vendors for goods and services that support client care and agency operations•Prepare quotes, proposals, and purchasing terms for review and approval•Procure approved furniture, equipment, supplies, and curriculum in alignment with ARC purchasing policies•Manage subscription accounts and conduct routine price checks on standard inventory items•Track inventory levels, reorder points, and deliveries to prevent service disruptions•Coordinate deliveries and pickups with programs and departments•Maintain safe, organized storage areas and accurate inventory records•Manage backstock inventory and conduct monthly audits of agency assets•Analyze pricing trends and sourcing options to identify cost saving opportunities•Communicate clearly with staff regarding purchasing requests, timelines, delays, and discrepancies•Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion•Support general office operations, including mail distribution and printer supply management•Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned

Compensation and benefits include:
•Most ARC employees are scheduled four-days a week to support their ability to maintain a healthy work and life balance; medical and sobering positions are scheduled to work three days a week
•Starting wage ranging from $27.50 to $32.00 an hour, depending on credentials, skills, and experience
•Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
•Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours

They repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems ranging from radar and communications to navigation and weapon systems. Responsibilities
