CITY OF GALLATIN Performs protective service work in fire suppression, emergency medicine, rescue, property conservation, and fire prevention activities. Perform as a first responder to provide basic life support and emergency care to victims of illness or injury. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. 1. General Function: EMT-Basic Instructor/Coordinator shall mean an individual responsible for the overall coordination of the EMT-Basic Program.
