Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting · Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment. · Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. · Complete mechanical repairs, adjustments, and equipment modifications as needed. · Respond to equipment failures and restore function as quickly as possible. Facility Maintenance · Maintain the interior and exterior of the facility, including plumbing, electrical systems, drywall, painting, and general repairs. · Assess and prioritize maintenance tasks across the property, addressing issues proactively. · Complete daily work schedules and maintenance work orders as assigned, ensuring timely and quality execution. Inventory Management · Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for maintenance activities. · Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure adequate stock levels and timely procurement of materials. Safety and Compliance · Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. · Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S and lean principles. · Identify and communicate potential safety hazards or concerns to the Maintenance Manager. Operational Support · Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance needs that impact operations. · Provide technical support for facility layout improvements and new equipment installations. · Participate in special projects and other responsibilities as determined by the Maintenance Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but works collaboratively with team members and contractors to ensure effective maintenance operations.
