Process Accounts Payable in BP software on day bills arrive in office.
Answer phones, resident questions, and hand out applications to prospective residents
Prepare and submit Security Deposit Dispositions required attachments into BP within 15 days of moveout. Under certain circumstances and with Regional PM Approval, an estimate letter may be mailed.
Prepare Work Orders in BP and supervise maintenance department to make sure work is completed. If work order is beyond maintenance scope, contact outside vendors and set up repairs.
Prepare/submit via email "Weekly Marketing Report", if applicable, to Regional Property Manager and designated administrative employee each Monday morning without fail.
Authorize and/or make small office and maintenance purchases for the project by charge or with small petty cash fund, which Property Manager maintains.
Maintain all replacement logs as stated in the CMC Maintenance Policy Handbook.
Establish written emergency procedures for the property. Be prepared to handle emergency situations by having emergency information available, i.e., telephone numbers, names of contacts, location of cut-off valves for water and electrical sources, etc.
Make arrangements for activities and social programs with outside agencies for the tenants; maintain good tenant and community relations.
Routinely monitor the appearance of the property for curb appeal and maintenance or janitorial items needing attention.

Clinical Management Functions:

* Supports and maintains the competence and quality of all clinical support staff.
* Consults with members of the provider staff on clinical issues or coordinates appropriate continuing education and in-service training.
* Assures safety and adequate maintenance of Center's medical records.
* Conducts or supervises an ongoing quality assurance program.
Clinical Responsibilities:
* Provide behavioral health care service to patients at the Center as scheduled.
* Provide behavioral direction for health care activities.
* Periodically review patient health care records for accuracy and completeness.
* Provide counseling orders and patient referrals as appropriate.
* The provider shall refer and coordinate in-patient hospitalization for the Center's patients at the hospital of the patient's choice and/or at a facility as required pursuant to insurance contact guidelines.
Professional Liaison Functions:
* Establish links with public and private clinical referral sources.
* Assumes an active membership role in national, state, and local behavioral health care societies.
* Conducts or coordinates activities designated to promote the community's awareness of the Center's health care program.
* Conducts or coordinates activities designed to mobilize community resources behind health promotion.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The teachers of Thomas Academy are expected to support the mission and philosophy of Thomas Academy and BGHNC.
SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:
To successfully prepare students with the knowledge and strategies they will need in order to master the curriculum and achieve a passing score on standardized tests. To also help students learn skills that will contribute to their social development. Teachers are expected to provide professional service in the following areas:
Follow all rules, policies and procedures of Thomas Academy, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to school issues.
Plan and execute a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students and is compatible with the school, district and state guidelines.
Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students, with an emphasis on implementation of the Teaching Family Model of Care and Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports System.
Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and, in harmony with the goals, establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects, and the like to communicate these objectives to students.
Employ instructional methods, materials and lesson plans that are most appropriate for meeting stated objectives.
Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis provide progress reports and other reports as required.
Counsel with colleagues, students, and/or parents on a regular basis.
Assist the administration in implementing all policies and/or rules governing student life and conduct, and for the classroom, develop reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintain order in the classroom in a fair and just manner.
Strive to maintain and improve professional competence. Participate in the development and support of the broad school vision.
Attend staff meetings, serves on staff committees and carries out non-instructional duties as required as assigned.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as required by the Principal (CAO) and/or CEO.
Adhere to all laws and requirements established by the NC Department of Public Instruction and the NC General Assembly.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Much of work is performed in the Thomas Academy with day students and residential students from Boys and Girls Homes of NC. Work can be stressful. Work responsibilities are performed in an office, classroom. Must have the ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to balance, climb, feel, grasp, kneel, lift, pull, push, stoop, and reach above shoulder level. Must have the ability to sustain repetitive movements for a limited period of time. Must have the ability to operate automotive equipment, travel, and work under limited supervision.
EFFORT:
Must be able to read, walk, see, hear, and speak. Sitting, standing, walking and stooping Ability to perform Emergency Safety Physical Intervention, as needed.
Must be able to defuse potentially dangerous situations, and remain calm in an emergency. Must be able to utilize behavior management techniques and serve as a role model. Must be able to interact in a warm compassionate manner; de-escalating clients when necessary.
