This position will be instrumental in leading the hydraulics efforts in Virginia and will focus on hydrologic analysis, compliance, and hydraulic design for transportation projects.

The RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) is a small, lightweight, infrared-homing surface-to-air missile. The Rolling Airframe Missiles, along with the Mk 49 Guided Missile Launching System (GMLS) and support equipment, comprise the RAM Mk 31 Guided Missile Weapon System (GMWS). On U.S. ships, it is integrated with the AN/SWY-2 Ship Defense Surface Missile System (SDSMS) and Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) Mk 1 or Mk 2-based combat systems.
This position is initially a TEMPORARY POSITION for the period of January 2026 through October 2026. Successful completion of this initial temporary task may lead to a follow-on, full-time position.
The technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) MK-31 Mod 1/3/5 Guided Missile Weapons System (GMWS) at the organizational level, utilizing appropriate documentation, tools, and test equipment. This encompasses a wide range of activities.
The Technician will:
• Conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance on the RAM GMWS to include routine inspections, fault analysis, troubleshooting, realignment, and repairs of individual equipment components, as well as the entire system & its interaction with other systems.
• Provide support for equipment removal and relocation, as well as Fleet Modernization requirements. This may include conducting site surveys and working in restricted areas.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and developing various aspects of modernization efforts. This includes the creation of project plans, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and modernization tasking. Additionally, the technician will participate in in-briefings, coordination meetings, peer review teams, & product teams.

• Develop Fleet Modernization requirements, including installation drawings, site surveys, detailed ship checks, & master material lists.

Job Overview:
MFLCs provide non-medical counseling services to military service members and their families. Counseling modalities consist of individual, family, couples, and groups. Tasks & Responsibilities:
Provides face-to-face, non-medical counseling to military service members and their families and makes appropriate referrals and transfers to military and community resources according to the needs of military service members and their families.
Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated. Delivers training and health and wellness presentations and activities as requested/directed.
Cultivates and maintains direct, high-level relationships with high-level commanders and personnel within the assigned military unit, utilizing superior senior relationship management skills and recognizing the unique structure and mission of the assigned military unit.
Delivers training and health and wellness presentations, participates in health fairs and other base/installation activities as requested/ directed.

Reports are generated that identify the findings, including the thorough evaluation of the various alternatives considered and the reason for the recommendation, which could be in the form of ECPs, MRCs, ORDALTs, TRS, or other associated documentation.
d. Individual prepares, modifies, reviews, and updates technical documentation relative to all phases of lifecycle support. He/she prepares analytical evaluations and/or reviews on proposed or existing technical documentation for assigned equipment. The documentation may include development, interface, or end item specifications, test requirements and plans, production drawings, operating manuals, etc.
e. Utilize knowledge of assigned equipment and associated systems to review the documentation for technical accuracy and adequacy. The technician will determine compliance with the regulations of Navy instructions and specifications.
f. Provide technical evaluation of and solution to fleet problems. This includes reviewing problems reported in messages, CASREPs, Feedback Reports, or other means; researching the NAVSEA Readiness Database; and developing solutions and evaluating the corrective action to the reported problems. Products associated with these solutions include the development of interim modifications, technical bulletins, messages, ECPs, or test plans. Generates individual or group reports associated with these problems and provides oral or written information to the appropriate Code within the E60 Division.
g. Provide technical consultative information, maintain knowledge on design, configuration, and problems of the system.
h. Maintain contact with the design agent and the technical community. Keeps informed of relevant technical information and hardware/software upgrades for MK9 TIS and MK29 GMLS. Provides technical information in support of the following functions: configuration management, data design (drawings, specs.), logistics support (APLs, TRS), technical manuals (TMDR, etc....). Provides technical consultative services to all levels of the technical community.
Education/Certification Requirements:
• 5 years as a Fire Control Technician (NEC V31A) with experience in MK 57 NSSMS Mod 12 - 15.
• 4 Years of shipboard experience.

Liaise with US Navy Ship's Supply Officer and supply departments, as well as counterparts at Fleet Forces, other Navy TYCOM's, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), NAVSUP WSS, Priority Material Office (PMO), Port Engineers (PE) and Maintenance Teams (MT), CNSL Type Desk Officers, support contractors, and other CNSL staff codes in matters pertaining to material readiness.
4. Maintain awareness and understanding of 2Kilos, MILSTRIP, and Casualty Reports (CASREP) and how they affect ship performance and future risk to mission accomplishment. Review and recommend corrections to ship's MILSTRIPs and supply data portion of Casualty Reports (CASREP) as needed and be able to verbalize how they affect timely delivery and future risk to mission accomplishment.
5. Update and track pertinent ship's NORS requisitions within the N4S access database MS SharePoint and excel spreadsheets with information gathered from Navy databases such as MFOM, PMO, OneTouch, FedMall, Logi-Quest, Open Architecture Reporting System (OARs), eCASREP, as well as information gathered from Item Managers and DLA Surface Forces Support.
6. Daily monitoring of all active NORS requisitions within websites such as FedMall, OneTouch, PMO Fleet Status Report, and familiarity with R-Supply and N-ERP procedures and how they relate to the tracking and monitoring of all CNSL high priority requisition.
7. Provide Logistics Management Support to CNSL N4S C5I and HM&E subject matter experts on pertinent logistics research, as well as assisting in updating databases and spreadsheets.
8. Attend pre-deployment teleconferences simultaneously for CNSL Ships (AMPHIB LOG and CRUDES LOG) and provide logistics data for the specific ships being discussed.
9. Liaise with Immediate Superior-in-Charge (ISIC) and Carrier Strike Group (CSG) staff for material readiness requirements and priorities for deployed and CONUS ships. Maintain awareness of ship's schedules and make recommendations to CNSL/CNSP, DLA, and NAVSUP of requisition prioritization in the event of outstanding requisitions with competing priorities.
10. The contractor shall meet or exceed the following measurables: Punctuality, reliability, and consistent quality in regards ROC-M operating principles review CASREP maintenance concerns and any active ship cannibalization concerns, Website access requirements must include via NIPR One Touch, FedMall, NAVSUP, Microsoft SharePoint. Occasionally, research via SIPR MFOM(S), Qlik, Jupiter, or eCASREP databases for all CNSL ships and weekly Pre deploying ships teleconferences to the waterfront.
11. For the routine telecons mentioned earlier, specifically the logistic telecons for CRUDES, AMPHIB, FDNF, other ship classes, and INSURV preparation, which will be held at the CNSL facility, the contractor will track and document the outcomes. Specifically, each requisition status for each ship briefed, building the logistic common operating picture. All these reports will be provided following the meetings for review and feedback for process improvement.
Education/Certification Requirements:
Five (5) years experience withing last two (2) years applying comprehensive knowledge of Intermediate/Depot Maintenance Activities and Regional Maintenance center procedures for repair, alteration planning and execution of surface ship maintenance and modernization.
